My Fiance and I share a wonderful baby boy together, just out of general curiosity I’m wondering how many other Bees have children! And how do you think it changes your planning/wedding from child-less couples?

no kids for me, but I know there are a lot of bees out there with kids!

I have two children and so does Fiance. I think it does making planning different because we’re trying our VERY best to include them in the day and make it special for them too. All four kids are included in the wedding in some way (my boys are escorting me down the aisle and his children are our junior attendants).

ihave one from another realtionship (but bio dad is not involveed, Fiance is the only dad she knows) and we share one together. We chose our venue so it would be a fun thing for them, we are getting married at a big resort with indoor waterparks. I think the event itself will be more relaxed and fun!

My Fiance and I have a beautiful 5 1/2 year old daughter. She’s our flower girl.
Although we are a family, and she will definitely be included in our big day, she is not the reason that we’re getting married. So, I don’t think that having a child is changing our plans too much. How about you, Frugal Bride? Do you feel like having a baby is changing your plans? I’ve been curious about this as well.

No, we don’t, but two of my good friends are engaged and have an almost 2 year old son… I can’t wait to see how they incorporate him into the wedding, he’s so adorable!

msmonicka, what a cutie!
My Fiance and I share a wonderful son together; he was a pleasant surprise that put our wedding talk on hold. He’s not the reason that we are getting married either, but when we learned that we were pregnant we decided to put our wedding plans on hold, 1. so that we could dedicate our time first and foremost to our family, and 2. to avoid anyone saying “oh, they got married because they had a baby…”
It’s changed our wedding plans a little bit: first, we have the cutest ring bearer now! And also, we’d talked about having an Adults Only reception, but after learning what a joy kids are we’ve decided that we definitely want a kid-friendly wedding!

@msmonicka he is so cute
Fiance and I have 2 boys who will be 4 and 2 this year. They will be our ring bearers. I dont think it changed anything for me as far as wedding planning goes. But we will be adding a new memeber to the family in Sept so that will put the wedding on hold for a few more months. 🙂
