Can you tell that I am indecisive? We are going to our dance lesson tonight for some tips and I still haven’t solidified our song. And I love my fiancé, but for once it would be great if his response wasn’t “whatever makes you happy honey.”
So here are the top 3
– Brad paisley- shes everything. This is one of the first songs that we danced to. We met 5 years ago at a country bar and we have danced to this song night after night. The only thing that makes me hesitate on this song is that its all about “she” and not “we.” My fiancé says that all eyes will be on me and its my night
– Blake Shelton- God gave me you. I absolutely LOVE this new song. And it does fit us perfectly as for the past 9+ months we have been in marriage prep with our local church in prep for the big day
– Frank Sinatra- the way you look tonight. How can you go wrong with a great, timeless classic?
Please let me know what you think. Thanks bees

I voted for She’s Everything since that is such a special song for you. What about Then by Paisley? Have you considered Then? Out of your three options, She’s Everything since it has the most meaning!

@Miss Ox: I’ve always love Frank Sinatra and a classic song.

I say go with Frank Sinatra and then have the other two played as an all dance… Just make sure you dance together to those two 🙂 Best of all worlds!

we had the same struggles with the “she” versus “we.” I wanted to use Then by Brad Paisley for our first, but he felt uncomfortable because it’s one-sided. So that was our last dance together, then they opened up the dance floor for one last “everyone” dance.
I say “God Gave Me You,” for your first dance, and play some Sinatra during dinner, so the guests can enjoy it too!

Since it’s just between those three I voted for #2 since it can be an us song.
I’m a little old school and love country music so I think we are using “I cross my heart” George Strait. It also seems like an “us” song but I aso have a few more I like. Hmmm maybe I will start a poll too hehe…later…

I dislike country music but I voted She’s Everything because it sounds like it’s special to you. I wouldn’t worry about the one-sided part, I’ve heard plenty of first dances like that. If it fits you as a couple, go for it 🙂

I voted for She’s Everything.I may be a bit biased because I am a HUGE Brad Paisley fan, but I also think it is the best because of your history with the song. I wouldn’t worry about the one-sided thing, especially if your Fiance is okay with it!

I also like She’s Everything – it’s your song, I say, go for it!!

If you want to use “God Gave Me You” without the country flair to it, it was originally recorded by Dave Barnes – you might give that one a listen! Its a beautiful song.

After talking to my Fiance about it more, I guess his memory is a lot better than mine, but we listened to the way you look tonight at dinner on the night he proposed. Im leaving towards Sinatra– as I think it holds more meaning to my Fiance than she’s everything and make sure we dance to all 3. Might be the best of all worlds!
