Since one thing we come here for is inspiration, I want to see where that actually happened! Post pictures (if you have them) of the inspiration and how it wound up (or will) in your wedding! Don’t forget to give credit to the person that inspired you!
For me, it was our Chuppah (or, wedding canopy). melisslp and her hubby had a gorgeous Chuppah at their wedding I just HAD to have! And so I did! Well, we made a replica atleast. Rather than posting a picture of them (which I would feel wonky about since I didn’t get their permission to do so) I found a picture of it from their florists website I had been using to make it.(I promise, she gave me the link to the website. I’m not THAT creepy! lol)
And how it wound up in our wedding:
They have their differences. lol. But I just gotta say, Thanks melisslp! You helped me find my absolute favorite part of my wedding! Well, aside from the handsome man standing beneith it with me.

I used Miss Cherry Pie’s ceremony as a guide to write my own! It was super helpful, I was seriously about to give up and go the traditional route until I found it.

@Mrs Hedgehog: Awwwww…thank you so much for the “shout-out” Hedgie! You are super sweet and I think your chuppah was lovely as well! Let’s hope some other BEES comment on how they were inspired. Thanks again!

Oooh, I’ve been inspired! However, I completely forgot who it was who posted their guestbook pages that I loved….I will go look it up and try to find out! We’re going to be making our own version of hers, though. It was like a mad-lib fill-in-the-blank card for people to fill out with their wedding advice and we both love it.

I used (but changed to specialize for us) Mrs. Apple’s Hand Ceremony
it was actually the one thing that made me look closer at the bee after being referred to it a few times.
I was inspired by the whole hive to branch out of my comfort zone and try to DIY a few things myself. I made our escort cards and Rsvps on my own (sad they didn’t get used) and they turned out beautifully.

@Juliepants: Those are lovely!
Two of my favorite parts of our wedding were the Ring Warming Ceremony and our Signature Platter. I’m not sure who mentioned them first, but I learned about both of these ideas here. Thanks Bees!

Inspiration: Place cards by naangel55
Reality: Place cards at our wedding. Ours were in a shallow wooden box filled with sand.

So far I have been inspired by sooo many bees but a project that I have done already and just have to put the final touches is my I Spy Tent. cllyons did inspire me to do a trifold/tent style as I am doing in English, Portuguese and French. This is her post: http://diy.weddingbee.com/topic/ispy-tents
And these are mine – again not complete but you get the idea 🙂

I’ve always been pretty open about the fact that I shamlessly copied was inspired by Mrs. Mascara’s invitations.
I’ll have to think about what I borrowed from the board bees though!
