It’s interesting tho what MrsJKH2be says… I guess it might just depend on your chicken and beef options ๐Ÿ™‚

i picked beef because every wedding i have gone to that had chicken, the chicken was undercooked (yuck)

we had our invites the same way – just stated pork, beef, vegetarian.

we left it vague on purpose in case we needed to sub in stuff for sides

we didnt want to be locked into something specific and have to change it last minute because of price or availability… looking at my list by the way so far, we have about 70% beef, 29% pork and one lonely vegetarian. ๐Ÿ™‚

I expected most of my guests to choose chicken, but as the RSVPs are rolling in I’m seeing that a good 70% or so are choosing beef.

i would pick chicken…mostly everybody loves chicken. and you could use it different ways for variation.  I”m doing BBQ chicken and everybody is so exciting about themenu.

Chicken all the way.  I am not a beef eater and while I love love love fish, some places do not do it right and I would be hesitant to pick it.

It depends what kind of beef, what kind of chicken, and what kind of fish!

I love filets and tenderloin, but hate prime rib.

I love salmon and most fish.

I hate chicken, just because it is always at a wedding, no offense though!

It’s impossible to answer that without knowing exactly how they are prepared, and many people agree. Some people eat beef no matter what and will not eat chicken or seafood, and vice versa. Many people will not blindly pick an entree without knowing how it is fixed and what goes into it. The same applies to someone who may have dietary restrictions or food allergies, in which case everyone must know how the food is prepared and what is served.

That said, I generally like beef but I don’t like all the preparation options. I like chicken but only served at home since I have had way too many bad experiences with it being undercooked (which is very dangerous) in banquet settings. I don’t eat fish.

Normally I would go for the chicken. However at my wedding the fish will be lobster tail and the beef will be fillet mignon so the last thing I would choose is chicken. Hopefully my guests will take a look at the website before they choose.

We are offering filet and either chicken or fish paired with the meat. I thought most people would chose the filet and chicken but about 75% chose the filet and fish.

    If it helps you:

    32 NY Sirloin Steak

    20 Baked Stuffed Chicken

    1 Kid’s Chicken Fingers

1 Pasta Primavera (Vegetarian option–not put on the RSVP card, only offered to the vegetarian we knew would be coming).

It comes out to 60% chose steak. ๐Ÿ™‚

A nice juicy filet or prime rib for me everytime over chicken or fish.  Between chicken and fish… if chicken breast is the option (which it usually is), then definately fish.

so… beef, fish, chicken in that order

I don’t eat beef (and after years of not really eating it my tummy doesn’t like it either!) or fish so my only option would be chicken ๐Ÿ˜€

I always pick chicken if there is no veggie option (if there is a veggie option, i usually pick that)

I’m only offering Beef or Fish at my wedding (they do have a pasta dish if someone doesn’t like either dinner) but they said when they offer chicken up against high quality fish or steak, they always get 1 or 2 chicken choices because most people can make chicken at home or afford it out but good quality of steak or fish is more of a treat.
