That I don’t like chocolate cake. It drives me nuts. The man loves chocolate WAY more than me and assumes I like it too. I like chocolate but not chocolate cake. Vanilla, Red Velvet, or whatever, sure. Lol. 4 years and he’s still like why don’t you like it? Lol.

A couple years ago for my bday I got a chocolate cake with walnuts in it.  I hate walnuts.  Then there was the time I got a giant box of those chocolate cherry cordial things.  I hate those too.  He can’t ever remember that and whenever I remind him, he goes “OH YEAH! I totally forgot!” sigh.  He thinks that because it’s something that he really likes, that I must like it too.

My Fiance doesn’t like chocolate (I know WTH!) but I do, so when he thinks he is being sweet he will pick me up a white chocolate candy bar. I wonder if he thinks I will say aw, no thanks you have it, because I wonder if that’s what he really wants, but I feel bad because he was being so sweet, so I eat it, even though I would rather have regular chocolate.

Plus, the man puts peas in EVERYTHING! And sometimes, I don’t want peas! LOL He has done the wrong order thing many times, that’s why I just send him a text with EXACTLY what I want. And if he surprises me with food, it is almost always wrong! Or I wasn’t in the mood for whatever he was in the mood for, so I don’t like it.

Mr.ND always messes up my drive-through order, even when I’m in the car! I swear, one of our biggest fights was over the chocolate dipped vanilla cone he got me, when literally 5 seconds before I specifically pointed out three times in a row that I wanted chocolate ice cream with a chocolate shell. Oy!

This thread has prompted me to make a post it with my ‘go-to’ meals from our favorite fast places, and I’m going to stick it on his dash. Now, unless he forgets how to read out loud, we should be golden ๐Ÿ™‚ Hahah.

You know why they do this, right? THey want it to appear they are doing something nice for you so they get credit for the effort, but they really want to keep the spoils! So you get the warm fuzzies for him, but he still gets to have his guilty snack pleasure. ๐Ÿ™‚

toast!!   i like peanut butter on my toast…that is my go-to spread for toast.  but when he makes toast for me about 50% of the time he’ll put butter on it…. no, not what i wanted.  One time i think i actually cried when he brought me toast with butter on it, haha. (but im pretty sure i was hormonal cause i had my period plus i was cranky from lack of sleep)

My Fiance has this habit of grabbing me MORE than I want. Don’t get me wrong, more of something can be great, but when I just want one sandwich or one candy bar, he feels the need to get me more than that and it goes to waste, or better yet, he ends up eating it and puts on more weight! haha

It’s really bad when we go through drive thru’s…I’ll say that I want a value drink because that is seriously all I will drink, and instead he orders me a large, it doesnt get drank, then it sits there in his car completely full for a year! geesh, I wish he would listen to what I WANT haha instead of trying to be nice all the time and getting me things that go to waste =/ OR he doesnt get me enough, that happens too. I give him directions specifically, and it just doesnt help. hahaha

my SO doesn’t seem to understand that girls can eat a lot too! lol. he will always tell me i’m a hog about my food and i tell him it’s cuz i have to be…if i wasn’t a “hog,” he would eat it all! i admit i love to eat, but i also remind him that if i didn’t love to eat, i probably wouldn’t cook all of those yummy dinners he loves so much. lol. i haven’t ever asked him to “grab something on the way home”…i’m either usually cooking and dictate what dinner will be, but no, lol i wouldn’t trust him to bring home something i like. i always have to tell him exactly what i want because i guess it is a bit of a pet peeve of mine when i don’t have exactly what i want. if i asked him to go down to chipotle and get me something when he gets his, i figure he would probably bring me exactly what he gets, which is not what i get ๐Ÿ˜€

i on the other hand, always know what to get him!
