I know it’s hard and scary to admit, but how many times has your e-ring gone *seriously* missing (as in the potential of not getting it back)?
I hit #2 today—left it at the gym AGAIN!! Luckily, there’s so many nice people at my gym; second person to turn it into management! Ugh, I make myself so mad sometimes when I’m flighty like this!
What about you?! Also, if you have lost it, did you get it back every time? Where did you find it/How did you get it back?

Operation: Watch Rings Like a Hawk has been working very well for me for as long as I’ve had my ering. I had a fakie before it that I had left in a ladies’ room right before I got engaged, and it has scared me straight. I was angry with myself, but i had that cheapy for a reason, and it was to train me for wearing the real thing because I know how forgetful I can be.

I lost mine once… I knew it had to be somewhere in the house so I took out my metal detector… it was under the rug in the living room- lol. I was crying and terrified.

I lost mine once about a month after getting engaged. I took it off in the car and put it in my lap while I was putting on hand cream. I totally forgot about and since I was wearing a dress, when I got out of the car to go into the store it fell out of my lap. I didn’t realize that it was missing until we were on the highway and 30 minutes away. Somehow Fiance didn’t freak out but he was convinced it was in the car, I knew exactly where it was.
Luckily my brother was at home and he drove the the store parking lot and looked around for it where I told him it would be. It was such a relief when he called to tell me he found it!!

Never but I’ve only had it since Thanksgiving. Holy oh my goodness I hope I never do! Losing a diamond from it on the other hand…

i had a scare once when staying at a friends house, i couldn’t remember where i had put it when i was in the shower and was afraid it went down the bathroom sink. i ended up finding it in a secure, far away from drains, spot. But i don;t think that counts, so i voted never. Although i wouldn’t classify it “are you kidding me?!” I think i am just lucky. i misplace jewelry alot. I can’t count how many earrings i have lost. I recently noticed that the bracelet i wore on my wedding day is something and i am sad about it. still have some hope of finding it though.

Never. I only ever take it off when I shower and cook and I put it in the same place each time.

I’ve never lost it. I don’t take it off unless I’m working with fondant or making bread. Fiance made me a little holder underneath the sink for me to put the ring there so I don’t lose it.

I never have. I’ve only had it for 5 months but I am SO careful with it. The diamond in my ring was FI’s grandmother’s and I would be devastated and heartbroken if I ever lost it. Even if I’d temporarily misplaced it, I would be so mad at myself.

I “lost” mine once, but it wasn’t really lost, so I’m not sure if this even counts, but I certainly thought it was lost and I was super upset. Turns out it was just Fiance tricking me. He noticed that I always took my ring off before I got in the shower, and he commented that he didn’t like that I did that. He gave some silly reason I can’t remember now. Anyway, one day I came out of the shower and couldn’t find my ring. I had set it on the side of the sink so of course my first thought was that it had fallen down the drain. I was shaky and soooo nervous and I called him into the bathroom and I said, “I think my ring went down the drain…” and then I started crying. The jerk pulled it out of his pocket! I was VERY upset with him, haha.
Of course, I NEVER take my ring off now, so I guess he got what he wanted!

I’ve never lost it. I almost never take it off in public though. I left it home on accident once and I was freaking out the entire time we were at dinner because I was worried about the dog eating it or something. It was sitting on my pillow when we got home.

Haven’t lost it yet… *knocks on wood* Its been on my finger for over 8 months.

My fiancé did the exact same thing to me before! He doesn’t care that I take it off to shower, he was just being silly. I didn’t freak out though, I knew he had it.

ETA: Fiance has taken it off the table though. I took it off while I was eating ribs. Super duper messy. I went to wash my hands and knew I was going to turn around and it’d be missing. Him and Future Father-In-Law tried to pull it off like someone threw it out. I was so mad.

Never. But when I take it off, I always put it in the exact same spot. I’m terrified of losing it! My mom took hers off at the beach when putting on suntan lotion and knocked it into the sand.. and then didn’t notice for an hour! She found it after frantically digging in the sand.. but since then I’ve always been terrified of losing any rings.
