quick question… do you guys have two bands??
I have a white gold diamond engagement ring, so of course I want a white gold and diamond wedding band. But I have always like how a classic simple yellow gold band looks. So I was thinking on our wedding to have 4 rings instead of just 2. 2 white gold and 2 simple yellow gold bands.
Has anyone done this before?

I have a plain rose gold tungsten band that I have to wear for times when I don’t want to wear my set (swimming, ect.)
Here is my set.
And here is my ering with my plain band. I dont have a picture of it alone.

I have a diamond eternity band and a plain white gold band that matches FI’s. We may be getting a yellow gold set too… I’m leaving that up to him.

I have 2 (and 2 erings as well).
The one I typically wear is this 1 TCW five stone band
For less bling, I wear this eternity 2mm on occasion

Yes. After I lost my first wedding band and got over the heartbreak, I think I gave up on having a one and only. The pregnancy weight gain sent me w-band shopping yet again. Many years later, I have a few plain and textured YG bands, one thin WG with diamonds, a 3mm diamond eternity in YG and a Cartier tri-color rolling ring. I ordered a thin garnet eternity the other day.
I don’t think having multiple bands is a waste. It’s fun to have a choice.

I agree with ppresto:
. I don’t think having multiple wedding bands is a waste of money. If you love them and love having a choice, then it’s worth it. I think it’s a very personal choice, and the feelings about it will likely be different for each person.
I’m biased, though, because I have several wedding bands. I got married with a wide gold band (yellow & white mixed). It became too small once I was pregnant and, then, didn’t lose the weight for a looooong time. So I switched to sterling silver bands. DH bought me several over about a 10 year time span. I probably have 6-10 plain sterling silver bands. Now that I’ve lost weight, none of the sterling silver ones fit. My original wedding band fit for a time, but it’s also too big now — poo.
I also have a plain rose gold band, a 1/2 eternity diamond band, a plain metal scrollwork band in YG (got it to go with my original ERing), a 5-stone band (anniversary present, although I wear it mostly as a RHR), and a flush-set platinum band (bought to create a “set” with my 15 year anniversary ring).
I mix and match and change things up as the mood strikes me. DH doesn’t care a bit, so long as I look married to the rest of the world.

I have two bands. Sometime I wear all three rings. Sometimes I wear just my plain wedding band…and sometimes I wear my sparkly band. I like having options.

I have a plain yellow gold band for our ceremony because it’s tradition for my FI’s family/culture.
I also have a white gold half eternity curved band that was custom made to fit next to my ering.
I’m glad I have two because I don’t really like the look of the curved band by itself. So, having the plain yellow gold one will be nice for days that I just want to wear a band and no ering. 🙂

I’m so bad — I have a 1.5 mm plain wg band, a 2.5 mm plain wg band, a wg rope band, a shared prong 1/2 eternity with round diamonds and a 1/2 eternity princess diamonds band. AND… I just ordered a rose gold band from e-wedding bands yesterday Needless to say my hubby is a very patient man
I can’t stack with my chubby fingers, but I sure do love switching up my wedding band all the time!
