I’ve been dress shopping many times and finally feel like I’m narrowing things down! Last week the new 2011 Maggie Sottero Miri was my fave pick (loved it but still wanted to think about it and go back to see more). I like how its so soft and feminine and feel the ruffles, sparkle and corset are me. I’ve loved Maggie since day one and would love to wear one of her dresses.
Today I went again to the same place to continue my search. The Maggie Miri again stood out and the consultant even said it just did something special for me. I had a great feeling in it. I am pretty indecisive so I asked her to pull things non ruffly just to see what else I was missing. She pulled the Jasmine trumpet T934 which was a 3 year old style with light beading all over. I liked the way it fit me, being fitted and I was shocked I liked it considering I had stayed away from those styles. I think I’m just confused now. I feel my heart is leaning on the Miri but I also now think the Jasmine is in consideration. They are both the same price in my budget. Let me know what you think of both!

You look great in both, but I’m a HUGE ruffle fan, so I voted the Miri 🙂

I think you should go with your gut before relying on what other people prefer, otherwise YOU won’t end up feeling as beautiful on your wedding day. It sounds like you really love the Miri, and that’s the most important thing! It doesn’t hurt that the Miri also happens to be beautiful and fits you like a glove. There’s a reason you love it…. go with your gut so you have no regrets 🙂

I think they are both beautiful on you, and I didn’t vote because I think you need to consider the overall feeling you want for your wedding, and see which one matches. But you look gorgeous either way!

It’s really hard to choose, because they’re soooo different. One is soft and romantic, and the other is sleek and sophisticated. You look gorgeous in both! I guess it comes down to what feel you want for your wedding.

Oh, girl, the Miri is made for you. It’s also in the way you carry yourself when you wear it that shows us that it’s clear the Miri is your dress. The Jasmine is beautiful, but I’m pretty sure it’s not the one..hope this helps!

I’m the only one who voted for the Jasmine!! I just love how it fits you!

You look amazing in both gowns. I voted for the Jasmine though, because I think it’s timelessly elegant and you look super-shapely! The Miri is beautiful and flowing, but a bit trendy for me. Go with your gut girl. You’ll look AMAZING either way!!!

You look gorgeous in both…however…the saleswoman is right…and so is your heart! The Maggie Miri does in fact just do something special for you! I think this dress is hard to pull off by most, but you do it stunningly! YOU are wearing the dress, and beautifully; as opposed to the dress is wearing you. Very important with a dress with that much oompf to it! It has more wow factor than the second, in my opinion anyway, and I believe you can wear a mermaid-style dress for other fancy occasions in deep purple or red or even black…but you could never get away with the Maggie (unless at a red carpet event!!). Follow your heart!! 🙂 I think you know the answer! All the best!

Both dresses look amazing. You are right about the Jasmine dress, it fits you very well. Because both dresses look great, I would consider the type of wedding that I am having. The first one is a fun dress where the second one seems more romantic and formal.
