Ok Hive I need help! Long story short.. I tried my dress on in a sweetheart neckline at one store but ordered it from another and wasnt aware that the dress only came in sweetheart by special request. (the store I ordered it from didnt have it in stock to see a second time) So now I have my dress but the neckline isnt what I thought it would be. I need your opinion bees! Should I have the neckline changed? Pictures posted are of me in my dress and of the same dress only in the sweetheart style..

I would change it, it doesnt seem difficult to change so why not? I kinda feel that it curves upwards as is instead of being straight across actually. It looks beautiful on you btw 😉

@lilhenry89: Sorry I voted the wrong option as basing my vote on the first pic, so yes I’d alter it to be like the first pic.

I rarely like the straight across look the sweetheart neckline often so much more pretty and feminine

I think either way is beautiful! I voted for the straight across style though because I feel like that’s more unique 🙂 But since you wanted sweetheart originally, then do that unless you really like the straight across better!

It does seem to curve up in this picture because the back of the dress is a deep v so from the side its goes up but straight on it looks straight across. I think I am leaning toward sweetheart mostly because for a petite (5′ 103lbs) bride I have kind of broad shoulders due to playing so much softball they are muscle-y lol. I feel like the sweetheart would add a more feminine and soft feel to it. But I am also on a budget… :/ darn money being an object!

I always like sweetheart necklines and if it can be done without any problems then I vote yes! You look amazing in your dress!!

I love the sweetheart neckline! I would definitely alter it if you can. It is a stunning dress though, and looks amazing on you!!

Another vote for a sweetheart, it’s almost always more flattering.

Thanks so much for the feedback! I think Im gonna do it! I will call Monday and see if its doable! I think its more flattering but my mom is very firm on believing that I look better in the straight across… I just dont feel .. Sexy? If thats the right term… I have a tendency to look younger than I am simply because Im so small so feeling somewhat sexy is important to me
