Just a quick about me so you get a better understanding. Me and my loveable Fiance are not the overly romantic traditional ppl.
We are having a wedding with 80 ppl invited. All have said they are coming, from what i read on here that means 70 should actually attend.
Now the thing is my partner is a HUGE GLEE FAN. Yes thats a quirky little thing that I love about him.
So for the wedding ceremony, the bridal thingy will start and my flower girl and paigeboy will walk calmly down the aisle. Then just before my bridesmaids start it will go into “Marry you” by bruno Mars. The back row of guests are actually hired theatre performers that will replicate Glees performance of the song. My mother and me will shimmy down the ailse to this song.
The songs really light hearted. This is a TOTAL SURPRISE for my partner.
Im 4 weeks out till our wedding and Im starting to freak out. Have I made the right decision? Will he like it? Is the song choice too fun and not lovey enough? Should i scrap the whole thing?

If he is a massive Glee fan then I’m sure he’ll love it. What a sweet idea! Actually, even if he wasn’t a Glee fan, I suspect it would go down well. That’s a great thing to do!

If he’ll love it, and it’s one of those that you’d say is “totally us”, I say go for it!
PS – Don’t you mean you’re 5 weeks out? 😉 My wedding’s the same weekend as yours, and I had a minor panic attack when you said it was 4 weeks away!

I think it might scare him. That’s simply because he is already going to be emotional, waiting there for you, and it’s when it’s his first (if you’re doing it that way?) time seeing you. I could see him crying, or just being overwhelmed. You know your Fiance, maybe ask yourself if he takes surprises well. Also, maybe, if he likes crying? Hahaha.
I think you made a nice choice, it’ll be very memorable.

@GreenDream: I think we will have a first look just the two of us. I think thats pretty personal and would like to see his reaction without having to worry about ppl watching us.
Thanks for the support bees!
