I like the channel set one the best.  For me, personally, a colored one like the one you showed seems too costumey and not enough like a wedding band.  I wouldn’t call it tacky, but I’d be worried about still liking it for the rest of my life (and I do like pink!).  For some reason the alternating colors don’t seem serious enough to me; they remind me of the bracelets I made when I was a kid with beads.  If you love it, though, then get it and don’t worry what other people think/ask them for their opinion.  Your confidence in your decision will discourage people from making negative comments.

The second one has a really sharp looking edge- I think the third looks the most balanced and classic.

I like the channel setting. It compliments your ring beautifully.

@Roxykitten:  I agree with previous posters that the princess cut channel setting will compliment your engagement ring best.

@Roxykitten:  Hey, I have an idea- could you get a hidden pink stone somewhere else on the ring? Kind of like what you said (“have just one of the diamonds be a pink one”) but do it on the bottom (palm side of the band), either on the inside or the outside of your ring, kind of like this:

Depending on where you put it, it can be your/your FI’s little secret and it personalizes your ring.  Also, when I googled for that, I saw this on Pricescope:

Obviously this is a solitaire, not a band, but maybe the same could apply.  A colored stone is set on the inside of the band underneath the main stone.  Supposedly it doesn’t really change the color of the outside diamonds as long as they are well-cut.  I don’t know too much about jewelry and it might be scratchy but it would be SO cool to have a couple of channel or bezel set pink stones on the inside of your standard-looking white stones.  I suppose if you did a half-eternity the inside of the plain half could be stones- although it would then need to have holes that would show, I guess.  It would be a cool thing to talk to a jeweler about.

I think princess will look best in a channel setting.  Round stones kind of look funny to me because of the gaps.
