I wouldn’t take your fiance’s statements to heart. My fiance makes crazy remarks sometimes about a dress and really he doesn’t know what it will really look like until you have the entire ensemble on with hair, makeup, jewelry.  Your dress is beautiful! The fabric is gorgeous! I love the detail on the back. The belt is sparkly and goes so well with the fabric of the dress. I love it! Don’t change it!

Your dress looks beautiful on you, and it’s not plain. It’s elegant. I wouldn’t worry too much about what your Fiance said – I’m not convinced that men really know what they are talking about when they make comments like these 🙂 I am sure he will think you are gorgeous when he sees you on your wedding day!

It’s not plain at all – it’s got that lovely detail on the bust and the sash is blingy and the back is awesome! You look great in it and your Fiance will think so too!

@ashley050406:  that dress is stunning, like jaw dropping! My bridal salon would not put the deposit towards another dress because they said that they could not stop Casablanca from making and sending the dress that I ordered. I think it depends on the shop though.

It is absolutely beautiful and you are absolutely beautiful in it! If you are concerned that he might find it too plain, I would leave the dress alone (it has bling already) and remember that a sparkly necklace and earrings and your veil/hairpiece will bring more sparkle around your face! That is where  he will belooking almost always! Think about it: Vows – looking at you from the bustline and up. During dinner- bustline and up! During your dances: bustline and up!. It will be prefect.

Wow, I really think your dress is amazing! It’s so elegant! Maybe you just need to try on others to see if you can top this one. That’s what I did to find out if I had choosen the right dress. It worked out for me!! Good luck!!

I think the dress you have on is really beautiful and flatters your figure.  I wouldn’t worry about what your Fiance says. I’ve read many posts on this site from brides who changed their dress because their Fiance had something negative to say about it, and then guess what? They wanted their original choice back.

I say, stay with the dress you know made you happy when you wore it–the one you picked! By the way, congrats on your wedding, I’m marrying my Fiance May 4, 2013 too!!!
