As I said on a previous post http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/waiting-update-weve-bought-the-ring-d the SO has very kindly decided to get me two engagement rings. The first one has been made and is being shipped (yay!) but I’m having some trouble deciding on the yellow gold setting for the second one.
For the centre stone, I want to have an Avarra emerald set with double prongs.
Which setting (it will be in yellow gold) do you Bees like best?
Thank you all!

In my opinion, the beauty of an emerald is in it’s clean and simple lines. I wouldn’t complicate that with a busy band. If anything, I would do a simple three stone ring with baguettes or trillion side stones.

I agree- simple is best with an emerald.
Lucky girl getting 2 rings!!

@AlwaysSunny: Thank you for that I looked through the ring selections at Moissaniteco again and found some rings that looked similar to the ones you posted. An added bonus is that they are cost less than the above rings which is a huge plus! Just too bad I can’t add them to the poll.
@CupcakeLove: Hehe to be fair it’s only because I’ve come way under his expected budget and I couldn’t decide between a sapphire and an emerald. Too many beautiful gemstones to choose from!

I voted #1. The emerald is gorgeous — it doesn’t need a busy setting. A simple, clean, minimal setting will really highlight the stone.
