i’m wearing “sneakers” that i bought at payless on clearance for $10. just gonna tack some lace on them and hot glue some pearls.

But Macy’s always has super cute heels and they always have sales/coupons. If you don’t find anything at dsw go look at macys and stalk them until they go on clearance for 75%off.

I was on a mission for low heeled sandal that was comfortable… I found Natralizer Prissy new on eBay for $20 including shipping and just finished ‘blinging’ them with aqua rhinestones.  I also added a rhinestone button.  I think my end result cost me under $40 total & I love them!

I know you said you don’t have the energy to do it, but it really was easy so you might want to consider taking the plunge!  I am NOT crafty or artistic in the least!

Before & after pics… they’re actually mush sparklier than the pics show – I’m an awful photographer.

I got my shoes from DSW for $54 with tax. They had this unique design that I thought went well with my dress:

I was actually all set to order a pair of $250 custom made shoes from Milk and Honey.  I specifically wanted red suede with red patent leather trim…and considering my fiance is only a couple of inches taller than me, it was impossible to find this existing combination in less than a 3 inch heel!  So Milk and Honey to the rescue 🙂

My dress is tea-length and vintage-inspired, so the shoes are a big deal.  I’m going to have red nails, red lipstick, red toe nails, carry red roses, wear ruby drop earrings, and red shoes  with my white dress.  I wanted open-toed and an ankle strap…and figured since I’m so specific in what I want, I should expect to pay a lot. I budgeted in the amount and even received sample swatches of red pony hair and red suede from Milk and Honey to compare.

But I would troll around on amazon.com frequently, just to see what was out there.  And then I found this pair!  For $40!  red suede with red patent leather trim, with an open toe!!!  and only 2.5 inches high!  the only difference is I really wanted an ankle strap…but settled on the strap across because I absolutely love the unique platform heel.  I couldn’t be happier with my $40 choice!!!  And like you, I absolutely wanted a pair I know I would wear again…and I will.  So search amazon.com frequently…you may be pleasantly surprised like I was!

I got mine at Ruche.com. I think they were $29 and I can definitely wear them again.

I also bought these but am not going to wear them. $29.95 at DSW.

Marshall’s! Marked down from $450 to $65 on clearance.

Also, I second (third, fourth?) the Ebay suggestion!

I bought mine for $20 at DSW!  I bought a blue pair on clearance in stock and they price matched the white one I ordered in store for home delivery to that clearance price (actually $5 less because it was easier for the clerk).  I preferred the white, returned the blue.  That said…my seamstress made my dress too long (when short was requestd) so I might have to buy a new pair in the next week with higher heels.

I got my wedding shoes on Ebay.  Betsey Johnson’s that were sold out everywhere, but Ebay had my size and they were way cheaper!  Some other good sites to check out:

http://www.6pm.com and http://www.hautelook.com

6pm is a division of Zappos and has tons of dressy shoes. Hautelook is a division of Nordstrom’s and they have different shoe sales daily.

Good luck!!!
