Being rude is very different to loosening up.

@Mr.Smithsgirl: Saying something that can be interpreted as rude isn’t automatically ok because you add a smiley face or LOL to the sentece. I think you’ve made your point. It would probably be best to end the discussion as it’s starting to become increasingly negative and there’s no longer a constructive aspect.

I don’t know who that last remark was directed at as you didn’t name anyone. If it was me I’m not calling anyone anything and I am not making a point for you. I am simply informing you that this is become a very touchy thread and it would be best to end it before too many people get sucked in and upset. It’s no longer a discussion about the courtesy or lack thereof between the bees on this board and is now a remark contest. You made your point, others made theirs.

This will be my last post.

The irony of this post has amused, befuddled and perplexed me in turn.

@Mr.Smithsgirl: If someone’s fiance is being an ass and it’s clear that he’s being an ass from what has been posted, most posters are just stating the obvious–and being honest–when they say he’s being an ass.

Weddingbee is a wonderful community and filled with diversity!

We try to keep good camaraderie amongst Bees, so when posts are started on the basis of complaining about other members it defeats the overall essence of the Hive.

If you felt you were personally attacked or name called, flag the post and certainly get in touch with a mod!

When a person posts on a public forum, they should read the rules ahead of time and also expect that people will be giving advice from across the specturm. Advice is basically personal opinion!

Some people are blunt and to the point- telling you things that perhaps you don’t want to hear. Its like having that good friend that will tell you how it is.

Some bees will agree with everything and uplift you, regardless.

Some people are out to argue.

As long as we stick to the rules, we all should be able to have adult conversations both of a heavy nature and of a light and fun one 🙂

@Mr.Smithsgirl: If you have an issue with rude posters flag and move on.There are many different posters and opinions on the Bee so when anyone posts, they should know to expect opinions they maybe don’t wish to hear. Unnecessarily rude comments are usually edited or the poster is called out by other members.

Flagging this thread as it seems to be serving no other purpose other than for the OP to continue to try to create drama.

Just flag the thread and move along guys…hopefully it will be gone soon enough. OP obviously doesn’t want to have an actual conversation, just make a bunch of sarcastic remarks about comments in other threads that weren’t even about her or her Fiance. OP, if you have a problem with someone’s comment, take it up with them in that thread. What you are doing is considered baiting and is against the ruls.
