I think it’s very pretty. It’s always bizarre to me when people are so tactless when it comes to something so personal. It wouldn’t matter if I didn’t love someone else’s ring (I’m not the one wearing it after all) I would assume it suited their personality and love it for what it meant to them.

But all of that aside- I love it. I just picked out a halo for myself (15th anniversary ring) and I’m sure I’ll get some similarly dismissive comments because I actually had the poor taste to pick a cluster ring! I had no idea that the style was so hated until I followed a link to this site when I was looking at rings like mine. Ah well. I consider it my duty to judge those who would make rude comments about my ring as superficial and not worth my time. Luckily I’m an old married lady and it’s doubtful anyone will notice I have a new ring (which suits me just fine). Laughing

Fff, your ring is great. At a glance I thought the sidestones not quite my style personally, but upon a second look, especially at the second picture, yeah, I am digging your ring. It has a unique look, and it is huge and diamond-y and I love that. I say bring on the bling!

I went to a jewelry store in the mall recently to try on a ring, because I’m in the market for a RHR, and the sales associate implied that to have a second, elaborate diamond ring would be tacky. I was D: at first, but as someone on another forum very wisely said – get and wear what you love and what speaks to you. If you love your ring, that really is all that matters. Haters to the left!

I might say, “oh,” just to sneak in more time to look at your ring- to take it all in! It has a lot of points and couldn’t just take a glance before complimenting. My style is toward solitaires, but love different ring designs. The use of long baguettes (if that’s what I see) is interesting.

Don’t worry about what other people think of your ring.  To be honest IRL no one cares much about what rings other people wear.  But if you’re concerned let me assure you that while it isn’t my taste it is pretty.   Here’s mine, which by virtue of being moissanite is definitely not everyone’s taste, but I love it.

It’s a sapphire. He picked it, and he won’t tell me how much he spent on it, though he said under $400 because he knew I’d probably frown on him spending more than that.

I love how it looks, though my aunt saw it and said, “How underwhelming”. She can go fly a kite.

Personally your ring isn’t my style, but I am a solitaire fan, and your opinion is the only one that matters! It’s very sparkly tho! πŸ™‚

Here’s my ring, only had it a week now! πŸ™‚ So far the comments have been great, altho one person (a friend of the family) asked “Does this mean you’re engaged?” lol

There is a lot going on…it’s very blingy. In all honesty, I’m not too crazy about the long side stones. That being said, when I read the title of the post, I was expecting something really out of the box and different, and that’s not what it is. I like rings a bit more stubtle, I don’t particularly love too much bling, however I think if you’re into bling, this ring is gorgeous. It’s a statement, show stopper ring, it’s beautiful, and you should rock it πŸ™‚

My first reaction was “Wow, how unique and blingy” πŸ™‚ My 2nd reaction was reflective as to why I didn’t think of those combinations of stones when I was desighing my set πŸ™‚
