My dress was definitely big! It was not glittery, but it did have a sparkly built-in belt and the lace on the top is beaded. I got a lot of compliments on it being “classic” and “glamorous.” It was a dream!

wonderlily :  YOU LOOK STUNNING!!!  I’m so glad that after all the alterations drama, and having to nix the pronovias, in the end, your wedding dress looked so gorgeous on you!!!  That A line skirt is amazeballs.  I’m still deciding on mine, but after looking at yours, I’m really wanting to go with a bigger skirt too. 🙂

I loved my dress, and wore it 2 years ago from yesterday (just celebrated our 2-year anniversary!).

It’s Jasmine Bridal and was perfect… I was looking for lace, v-neck, some illusion back, and a fit/flare.

catskillbride :  That’s how I fell in love with my Essence of Australia D2109…that I didn’t take a picture in because I didn’t want to regret my decision (but now I am regretting not taking a picture because NO ONE has one!)

raspberrybidet :  Thank you! It’s a total ballgown and I think the pleats at the waist are what really gave it that fullness and movement. I have had a few moments of ugh when I see pics where the lining did show and the bustle puckered too, which bothers me because that shouldn’t have happened, but I couldn’t have been any happier with the dress itself and didn’t give it any thought that day.  It was fabulous and I loved it, and out of a hundred zillion pics, I’ll just skip the ones that show the faulty alterations lol!

If you think you maybe want a big skirt at all, DO IT. There was a lot of twirling at the reception. 🙂
