My best friend has one and she adores it. Her Fiance is allergic to dogs and he seems to be fine with their Italian Greyhound.

I can’t comment on the shedding, but I don’t think he sheds much. When I leave there, I have never seen hair on me (maybe a few pieces, but nothing like my labs). He climbs up on my lap and snuggles up with me everytime I’m there as well. They are considered a low shedding/low grooming dog.

They are very high energy though – remember that. While I love her dog, I feel like it would run circles around my lab (who is 1.5 years old).

@kayberry:  Have you thought of reaching out to a breeder for more info or even a IG forum? You’ll probably find a lot more there.

Honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever had her dogs fur on me. It’s always my labs fur. She told me before that it was little/no shedding, which is why they liked him.

My friend had one, and I don’t think they shed much at all, if any.

What about a poodle? They are typically non-shedding. Only thing is you need to bathe them, otherwise they stink. Oddly enough, I’m allergic to non-shedding.

@kayberry:  Could always look at a mixed breed one. I’ve seem some awesome labradoodles and goldendoodles. Not a dog for me, but they are adorable.

I love my labrador though, even with his mounds of fur. We are terrible with cleaning, and Darling Husband will comment on the furballs looking like tumbleweeds on the hardwood. It’s actually kinda funny to watch them start rolling.

My Boyfriend or Best Friend has one and I’ve never once gone to her house and thought “wow, there’s so much hair”, and she’s always says, “I doubt I’ll be on my deathbed wishing I cleaned more” so I know she’s not home secretly hoovering before I come over 😉

They are super cute, I think they look like little reindeer 😉
