I’m meeting with a florist for the first time this week and have no idea what to expect. There’s only 2 in town and this seems like the cheaper one. I’m in a small town outside St. Louis which is generally fairly cheap. I really don’t want to spend more than $600 on flowers, I’d just get fake ones or DIY. Is this possible for $600 or under?
I’m looking at
1 bridal bouqet w/ peonies and hydrangeas (I like peonies but would settle for garden roses)
6 Bridesmaid or Best Man boquets w/ hydrangeas and a few roses
11 rose boutinerrs
6 rose corsages
2 alter decorations (mom insists, I could care less, just something really simple)
Here’s my bridal bouquet inspiration:

@MrsN14: I would not call myself a flower expert by any means but $600 does not seem doable with the amount that you want. Peonies are more expensive flowers as are garden roses. Hydrangeas and spray roses are cheaper per stem and ranunculus are a cheaper alternative and good substitutions for peonies. So the BMs bouquets wouls be cheaper since I believe those are spray roses and hydrangeas.
Below is what I paid, but Im in California and the prices are higher. i also LOVE flowers so they were pretty important to me. Therefore I hired one of the best and probably not the best prices. I don’t know the costs in St Louis, but to give you an idea:
My bouquet: $220
Bridesmaid or Best Man bouquets: $120 each
Groom bout: $18
Groomsmen Bouts: $16 each
Mother-In-Law and Moms corsage: $18 each
So that already exceeds the $600 and doesn’t include altar decor and centerpieces. Hopefully it’such lower in St. Louis! Good luck!
