40 lbs in 4 months is not a healthy weight loss goal.  I need to lose more weight before TTC as well so I understand your frustrations.

We plant to start trying next year with the earliest timing being July! We’re enjoying this first year of marriage, I graduated law school this year, getting comfortable in our jobs and new city we just moved to. I’m also in a wedding next July, and wouldn’t want to be pregnant as I’ve already ordered my dress. So, end of summer next year sounds like a good time. In the meantime, we’re enjoying doing fun activities in our city like festivals, including an art all night event with visual art performances from 7pm-3am. Can’t do that with a newborn!

We’re waiting till april/may. It is so hard, I want to go off the pill and chart now (after Bee advice) but Darling Husband wont have anything to do with condoms and I don’t want to get pregnant till next Spring. ugh.

we were going to start this past summer, but decided to hold off another year because it logistically makes more sense with my career. it was definitely frustrating at the time, since we were both on board and started getting excited about it…but then we got a puppy (our 2nd dog), lol, and she’s enough work now that I’m fine with waiting a little while longer!

I got off BCP at the end of August, and we have been NTNP since. However, I have a feeling it’s going to take us awhile because my cycles off BCP are still trying to regulate, and I suspect that I have endometriosis. Blah.

Once my next period comes (still waiting and I’m now on CD31) we will be trying more actively next cycle.

    Good luck to you!!

We are waiting until February with my going off BCP in January.  I kinda wanted it a little earlier but now I am pretty happy with that timeline, I love Christmas and the holidays so I am excited that I won’t have to worry about TTC and its related stress during my favorite time of year!

We plan to start trying this December. I have a doctor appointment on December 4th just to make sure everything is ready to go. 🙂 I’m already taking vitamins & trying to eat better. Other than that I am so ready to start RIGHT now. But I know waiting will be better & safer for the baby.

Do I count, since it will be baby #2? I voted May 2013.

We just a beautiful baby boy 8 weeks ago, and we are going to try for another one when he’s around 9 to 12 months old. That way the siblings will be close in age.

We started TTC in August, just after the wedding. Just started cycle #3.

We just got married a month ago and just started TTC (this was our first cycle) and will give it a go until December but if nothing by then we’ll take a break until June. I have three kiddos from my first marriage and my two oldest have b-days 11/27 & 1/23, so with Christmas in between b-days, the end of the year is pretty crowded LOL.

We are sort of half NTNP, half TTC – we want it to happen and would be thrilled if it was now, but Darling Husband doesn’t want the “pressure” of me charting, temping, etc. yet.  So this is my first cycle off BCP and I am planning on tracking my period just to know when I should test (and of course making sure we BD around when I think I am ovulating), but we are giving it a few months to see what happens before we get more active/aggressive with the charting, timing of BDing, etc.
