We decided TTC on DH’s b’day in November. But I fell asleep! Embarassed It was officially my last night drinking and I think I knocked myself out. Lol! So we started the day after. Hehe.

We just started this month :)(Dec)DH is a wild land firefighter and is frequently gone for 3 week stretches in the summer months Late May- Early Sept. Our birthdays are both in July and we know how it is to be away from each other on our special days so we are trying to plan around fire season.

@Miss PumpkinPenguin:  We will hopefully be trying in June 2013 as well!

We just had another talk about it last night (yay!) in honor of our half-year anniversary.  🙂  DH says we can look at pulling the goalie in June – I won’t lie, I was kinda hoping for earlier, but I know I have lots I need to do to prepare.  Time to really focus on getting healthy and replacing all my former wedding reading time with TTC prep reading.

I have PCOS and am worried about not ovulating after I go off the pill – so I guess having this extra time to learn and prepare may be a good thing.  I’m just worrying already about not being able to get knocked up and it makes me want to start sooner!  Craziness!

@PilotsGirl56:  Endo can cause issues with weight! I wasn’t a big girl before getting my laproscopy but I did shed a little more weight over the next year (unintentionally) after having it. They can also tell you your likelyhood of natural conception or if you’ll need medical assistance to concieve. I’ve got until I’m 30 for a natural conception (lucky I’m only 21!).

We’re going to start TTC (or just stop not trying) April 2013 – around 6 months before the wedding Smile after which we’ll start more actively TTC.

We are going to Europe in April and talked about that trip possibly being our baby making trip… All I know is that DH hates the commute with our jobs (We both commute 1 hour each way and his sometimes takes double because of traffic). We are either going to both try to get new jobs elsewhere in spring and wait a few months or I will quit my job, get something part time down where he works so we can move and not have to commute. I’m getting really excited about it!

We are looking at March or April of 2013! With being a teacher, it would be wonderful if we could time it out to happen so I could go immediately into summer break. I met with my regular doctor and set up an appointment with a new OB-GYN. I also just joined Weight Watchers to try to drop some weight. I’m really getting baby fever bad! I feel like everyone is announcing that they’re pregnant right now. However, my short term disability won’t kick in until February 1st, so we have to wait until at least that point in time.

My plan is also to do one more pack of BC, unless the OB-GYN recommends differently. We use two methods of birth control anyway, so I don’t see a huge problem with that. We’re just wanting to be safe :-). Part of me is a little nervous, because my mom had a hysterectomy at age 38. I’m about 10 years away from that, and I’m feeling anxious to get started. DH is, too, but we’re both having to be patient.
