Hey bees!
I am trying to pick out my wedding bracelet and am worried about it getting caught on my tulle skirt. Did any of you have this problem with tennis bracelets catching on your gown or did you opt for another type of bracelet?

I had a tulle overskirt and I wore my mother’s tiffany’s pearl bracelet as my something borrowed. No issues with that catching on the tulle.

pinksweetie90 : I have considered pearl but all my other jewelry is blue topaz and I think it might clash. Otherwise I totally would.

I ended up not wearing the bracelet I bought bc it was catching on my tulle skirt. I took it off before we did our first look. I didn’t even make it out of the hotel room. It had rhinestones and the vintage style settings kept catching. I finally got to wear it last weekend when I was matron of honor in my sister in laws wedding. I got a bunch of compliments on it too so it’s a shame it caught on my tulle skirt

Chimpy24 : That is a shame 🙁 i am considering not wearing one at all.
jacksspade : I’m wearing a blue topaz necklace (a LOT of bling- 30ct) and dangle earrings so unfortunately something large would probably overpower the look. But maybe a dainty silver bangle with some topaz accents would look nice? I have really tiny wrists so hopefully I could find one small enough.

For what it is worth, I didn’t think “wedding bracelet” was actually a thing. Not a single person in my friends or family wore one. I’m not planning to wear one – I don’t own or wear bracelets the other 364 days of the year. I think I only have one friend who wears a bracelet at all and it has sentimental value so I’m going to guess she would wear it no matter what on her wedding day. But If you don’t normally wear one, I probably wouldn’t bother.

annabananabee : Yeah I’m leaning toward not wearing one at all. I may be wearing some sort of headpiece/tiara so I don’t want to overdo it with the jewelry anyway.
