maygirl95 : oh wow bee, Snap!! Great minds eh? And those mixed stone bands are identical! Where did you get yours??
Aww thanks Bees, it is a toughie! My gut is telling me that I always envisaged a nice classic plain band as my wedding band and so to go for that, but find the right one that fits and complements my ering.
I will definitely be saving up for the diamond band later down the road for a set like maygirl95‘s !! I love the idea of being able to mix and match, or wear one or a multiple of bands.
Also, I am buying our wedding bands, and it’s also just not in my budget right now to buy the diamond band!! 🙁

butternutter : sounds like a good plan to start with the classic band and then bye the other one down the road 👍
Mine is pre owned and I actually got it at an auction house. Looked like it had never been worn. I had been looking for that exact design but always felt it was too expensive so I was so happy when I found it for a fraction of the price 😍

maygirl95 : wow – great find! Yeah I near died at the price on the label, but then realised it was a full band of stones, I would only want a half, which would thankfully bring the price down a bit.
Now that I know I like it might do like you and look around for something similar pre-owned! Ta!!

I think they both look great but slightly prefer the diamond band!

The diamond band for sure! It’s the perfect compliment!

I had this same debate over and over. I initially got a diamond band and it, to my eyes, distracted from the beautiful baguette setting, so I got a plain band and I love it. I wear the other band on my right hand. Curious to see what you choose 🙂 Luckily you have only good options.

Bee I’m loving the way the plain matches your ring and looks on your hand so thats my vote.
I wanted the plain matching band for several reasons.
One reason is I could take the engagement ring off and knock my band around all I want without worry that stones or anything else will fall out or get damaged, when I deep clean things or am gardening its great. Another reason is that matching our bands was special and symbolic for us (totally not knocking other bees) – it just worked for us.
