Allthatglitters07:  I love it! I get to browse wedding blogs at work, design styled shoots and meet with a bunch of different people. Event days can get stressful and long but when you love what you do it doesn’t feel like work, more just like your life is one big party haha

I work for an IT company.  When I’m in the office, I get in around 10 and leave at 5. I work from home once or twice a week. But sometimes when I do home office I finish rather early. I work 5 days a week. TBH I’m pretty lucky, my company is quite relaxed as long as the work gets done and I remain visible and engaged with my peers.

Allthatglitters07:  My work hours aren’t bad at all!  I’m a government attorney, and when we’re not in trial, I work the standard 8-4:30.  When we’re in trial, it’s more variable (I’ve done 7am-11pm before weeks in a row) but my section doesn’t go to trial often, maybe 2-3 times per year.

I’m a junior doctor (an intern).  My hours vary, but as an example, next week I’m working 8am-4pm Mon-Fri then 8am-10pm on Sat/Sun, then 8am-4pm Mon-Fri, then I have the a weekend off. Following that I work 8am-4pm for the next 12 days, then have another weekend off.

I work at a law firm as a legal assistant and my hours are M & W 8:30 – 3 p.m., T & TH 10:30 – 4:30 p.m, and F 8:30 – 1 p.m. I had to rearrange my schedule because our receptionist changed her schedule due to school, but after this semester in May she will be back to the regular hours and I will work M – TH 8:30 – 3 p.m. and F 8:30 – 12 p.m. I love getting off early on Fridays!

cupcakequeen42:  “I’m a pastry cook at Disney World” Speechless. (I thought magical mice and little elves did the stuffat Disney?)

Your job is probably not as romantic as it sounds, but dang, “I work at Disney making delicious sweets all day” is pretty amazing. 🙂 🙂

Shesaidyes:  I do like my job very much, but yeah, it’s hard work and definitely not as romantic as it sounds. But I do like it!

Working for Amazon sounds cool!

I work at a casino. We are open 24/7 (and all holidays) so my shifts are random. Shifts change everyday and are structured 7a-3p, 3p-11p, and 11p-7a. Work 40 hours per week

Thank god I am going back to school soon!

I’m a pharmaceutical sales rep, so I technically work out of our home, but I’m out in the territory in sales calls 645/7am-330/4p M-F. All of my business planning, data mining, and administrative tasks are taken care of outside of those hours. It’s probably about 55hrs/wk.

I previously worked in fundraising for a university, which was a great gig. 830-430m-f unless you had a big event or a solicitation trip planned.

Before that I worked in college athletics and traveled all the time. Darling Husband was in athletics too and we pretty much never saw each other. Those two masters degrees in sport management that we’ll never use again look really lovely on our home office walls… Haha 🙂
