I’m a Naturalist at a National Park and I manage and guide for a Jeep Tour company. March-November I work a ton of varying hours and endure chaos, but it’s worth it because I’m off most of December-February. And I have an amazing job in one of the most beautiful places on Earth!

I work for the YMCA here in my hometown doing childcare (6:30a-9a & 3:30-6p) during the week, then on the weekends I work at Meijer (kinda like Wal-Mart here in the midwest). And during the week I go to school full time.

I work as an engineer for a pharmaceutical company. I have the unfortunate task of supporting the weekend shifts so I work 10am-10pm Saturday and Sundays. I then do an additional 16+ hours during the weekdays. If I’m not called in for a special project or meetings, nobody really cares what day or what time I show up. I do post my expected schedule on my cube though in case anybody is hoping to catch me.

I’m an Office Manager for a landscape architect. I’m in charge of billing, their social media, presentations, etc. I work full time, M-F 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. It was a huge adjustment for me in hours (as I came from working 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. M-F), but now I love my schedule and I love getting off so early.

I’m a self employed attorney in a rural area. My office is officially open court hours M-Th 8-4:30, F 8-12 (court is open 8-4:30 on Friday but typically nothing is scheduled Friday afternoons and it is considered the punishment spot on the docket).  In reality I do a lot of Guardian ad Litem work and work evenings and weekends reguarly.  If I hit my billing goal early in the week, or if I have to work multiple hours on the weekend I usually take a half day during the week.

I work for a language services agency 8am to 5pm, M-F (I am one of their recruiters and interpreters) and i also teach American Sign Language 1 night a week at this really fun place that hosts classes on a variety of subjects. Sometimes I tutor private clients on the weekends but have been taking a break from that to focus on more wedding planning tasks.

I’m the head pastry chef at the bakery I work at. I work Friday-Tuesday 5am to 1pm, generally. If it’s busy I work until I’m done. My hours vary wildly from week to week. Getting out at 1pm when I can is fantastic though. I get to go to the grocery store while its’s quiet!

I work for the University of Pennsylvania and my hours are 9-5! I wish I was 8-4 because the commute would be better, but, a paycheck is a paycheck.

I work for Nordstrom and I work Mondays and then Wednesday-Saturday 7:00am-3:30pm. It’s a pretty awesome job, but I am trying to get a shift that works Mon-Fri.

I work in the logistics department for an ADT provider. Currently, M-W, F & Sat 2:30p-11p. Every 3rd week it’s 4:30pm to 1 am. Hopefully, I will soon be moving to a 9-5 schedule…

I’m a caregiver and medtech for an assisted living facility. I work overnights 11-7, but I’m shift lead so that turns into 11-7:30 or 8 on a good day, or I’m responsible for coverage and end up doubling on a regular basis. It sucks but I love what I do
