It seems to me that if you need to change that many things about it, you might want to consider looking to find something that is more what you’re looking for?  It looks/sounds like it would be gorgeous with all the alterations, but it seems like it would be expensive to do that much work to it?

I love it! I’m thinking if you get the corset added in, which will make it tighter in the mid-section, then you won’t need the alterations on the bottom. Just a thought! Looks great, though!! Love the ruching!

@SimpleGifts:  I agree. It sounds like you’re planning a lot of alterations to make this dress what you want it to be, so why not just try to find a dress that’s closer to what you actually want?

@Bride030313:  I don’t see why you couldn’t wear simple, understated jewelry and makeup with the second dress. And do men really know what they’re talking about when it comes to wedding dresses? lol The dress should be about how you feel in it. He’s going to think you’re beautiful no matter what you’re wearing!!!

Dress 1 is definitely gorgeous on you.  I think you look stunning in dress 2, but since you seem so unsure and you’ve now given us a comparison, I do prefer you in the first. Hope that helps!

@Bride030313:  Although I think you look gorgeous in the second dress, it sounds like you’re definitely not in love with it.  I think if you do the alterations on the first dress it will also look great with the added bonus of being what you want.  It’s just too bad that there isn’t something that is closer to what you are looking for that doesn’t need so much work done to it.

I think dress #2 looks way better on you!  Will they let you exchange?
