My fiancé has latch onto this idea (so cute of him!). The other day he actually brought it up like it was his idea, “I’m picturing white, rectilinear boxes for my sister to grow our succulents in.” Like I hadn’t shown him these pics a few months ago! So sweet
His sister is a plant girl and has offered to grow these arrangements for us! But I am having no luck finding boxes like these. At first I was thinking these were ceramic, but then I realized they are a kind of painted balsa wood or something. Any ideas where I can find something like this? They can be plain and I can paint them white. I’ve checked Target, Lowe’s, Hobby Lobby and Blick Art but I haven’t seen anything. I’d like to stay around $2-3/box. Anything 6”-12” long, maximum 4” tall. You guys have any ideas??

I’m not sure if this would work or not but why not buy regboxes wood boxes then paint them your self? if you can’t find the boxes then you can make them too. They seem pretty simple to make.

Leave it to my FI! He found this 5″x5″x2″ vase here
And this 9.5″x4.75″x3.5″ for a bit more money here http://www.jamaligarden.com/productdetail/25802/16/ceramic/gloss-white-ceramic-cube-vase-and-rectangle.php
He’s good with spending a bit more and making these home grown plant settings a part of the wedding party gift! Woo! Hope this helps anyone else looking for something similar!

@VineyardBride105: They are decribed as acrylic trays in the blog post that featured your pics.
