Have you thought about makng one? That is what I did. Mine would have cost me two or three hundred dollars if I would have purchased it ready made. Making it cost a lot less. I know you commented on my teaser pictures post, but here is the link, if you want to see a partial of my veil.

I had mine made through Occansey Designs: http://www.occanseydesigns.com/index.html

I emailed them a picture of a veil I tried on in a store and liked but couldn’t afford.  They directed me as to what type it was, I told them the length, and before I knew it it was in my hands, and at HALF the price the original store was going to charge!  I’d definitely reccomend them!

I got mine from ebay, a seller in NY who carries many different veil styles.  It was about $15 and I just took it out of the packaging, dipped it in hot water and let it hang dry to remove the wrinkles and it looks gorgeous!

It’s all just tulle, and I wasn’t going to pay between $50-200 for a veil!!!  It’s plain cut off edge but if I wanted beading I would probably do it myself.

@jaguar: I don’t know another place to reccomend, but depending on how much Occansey is over your budget- maybe you can try friending them on Facebook and waiting for a special offer to surface there?  For example- they just posted “Spring is here! For the month of April, enter code Spring11 and receive 10% off your order!” a few hours ago… maybe something like that is enough to make the difference? I think they do deeper discounts than that even on occasion.  They did 11% for the 2011 new year, 14% for Valentines day (2/14), etc.

(I’m not sure how much you mean by “a little” more than you can afford.)
