Number 4 is my favourite.

@CollegeBee3: #2 is a flattering silhouette and beautiful gown on you.

@CollegeBee3: I voted for 2, but then I changed my mind.
I think it highlights your curves amazingly, which is why I think a lot of people like it, but having had the chance to look at it again I actually think it makes you look unbalanced. Like, I think it makes the top of your body look bigger then the bottom half, especially the shoulders.
Compare it with #3, the Cinderella dress, which I think balances you out a lot more. (I can’t tell either way with #4 because of your hair being down.) But unfortunately the Cinderella doesn’t show off your curves so well.
So, I think I’d like to see you either in a dress that flares out higher or one that is even more of a dramatic mermaid at the bottom. Or something with an asymmetrical waistline. Or a floaty ballgown, but with a drop waist.
Like this AA dress:
Or this Mori Lee mermaid:
Or this Maggie Sottero:
Or this Stella York

@FutureMrsHallam: thank you! Yes, cup pads are also a consideration! 🙂
After sleeping on it, I believe 4 is my dress because while 2 is lovely, it is too plain to me and my heart keeps coming back to 4.
@Mez03: that’s a great suggestion, do you think the associates will think I’m crazy for second guessing? I left there with #4 on file with them as my dress and I plan to order it next weekend already!
@justjade: yes, when I came out in 4, the associate said “there”s a real smile!”
thanks so much for the reference pics. honestly, I wouldn’t know where to shop for these dresses because I don’t live in a major city with major designers. I love the Mori Lee, have it pinned on my Pinterest board lol.

I love dress 2 on you! Gorgeous!

Yay! Im glad you made a decision based on what you
Seriously, here on the bee there will always be a clear consensus – the majority will always pick for the same dress, and its always a slight variation on what was most picked in the poll before, and the poll before, and the poll before…
Those kinds of dresses are very in right now, but that doesn’t mean they are the best, the most flattering or at all what is best for you and your wedding.

I think #4 is beautiful! Congratulations for finding your dress! (:

thank you for providing some great insight! 4 just speaks to me. The manager also said when she saw me in the Ariel she could just tell!
Attaching pics of 4 in white!
Thanks for all the votes and comments bees! You all have helped a lot 🙂

To be honest, I went back 2-3 times to try on my dress to make sure it was the one because I had read so many dress regret stories on here! I had to make sure it was the one before spending so much money on a dress I wouldn’t love. I wouldn’t care if the sales person thought I were crazy or not, I personally wouldn’t want to have to call the salon afterwards saying “I ordered this dress but I think I made a mistake, I’d like to order this one”. Do whatever you need to do to make sure its the one 😀 regardless of what someone at the salon might think!!

very true! Yes for something so pricey and special I need to be sure. I plan on trying on Ariel again and going to another bridal shop to make sure it is indeed my one.
