MrsYellowDaffodil:  OMG, your lips are luscious! LOL! They look perfect.

I do my eyes a little different — I would swap the colors on the lid and in the crease/outer corner. I always do lightest under the brow, medium across the lid, and darkest in the crease and outer corner.

Eyeshadow can be tricky to get the hang of. The picture above might help with where to use various shades. It looks like you have your darkest colour and medium colour mixed up.

Also I agree with pp – your lips!!

Oh and here’s abother pic that shows you where to use your different shades and highlighting. I wouldn’t necessarily use your darkest shade as a liner unless you have the right brushes.

if you have problems with doing brows i’d get a gel as its pretty fool proof, benefit gimme brow is really good but think maybelline just came out with their own version too ๐Ÿ™‚

if you find eyeshadow hard to do maybe get a brown with a sheen finish too it and blend it with a brush really well in the crease and put most of the colour on the lid.  That way if youre only using one colour it can look like two different shades if it’s blended really well ๐Ÿ™‚ some brands make eyeshadow sticks and they come in really nice shades and blend really easily so that could be another option too ๐Ÿ™‚

Try heading to reddit.com/r/makeupaddiction. There are tons of folks there who can offer really good advice. I would agree with some of the advice on eyeshadows. Maybe try a lighter color in the inner corner to brighten that area up? Are you wearing blush? Maybe punch that up a little bit. Also, when posting photos, try holding up a white sheet of paper or something to get better color balance. Good luck!

Get a white or off white and put it in the corner of your eye closest to your nose. I’d pick a little lighter of a tone for your eyes and use the color on your lid as the color for your crease.

Also maybe throw in a little basic contouring?

YouTube videos can be a world of help!

Your eyes are hooded, and there are actually different techniques for hooded eyes. you can’t do the same crease swirl because it doesn’t show the lower lid. Focus on opening the eye, darker in crease of outer eye and in circular motions up and out, highlighter all along brow esp inner upper brow, where we don’t highlight non hooded eyes.

your lips are perfection. Try a coral color with your complexion.

I second reddit, here is their masterlist of threads (it’s on the sidebar if you’re not new to reddit) https://www.reddit.com/wiki/makeupaddiction/best_of, especially http://imgur.com/a/rqbaM for a hooded eye tutorial. Also yes brows are a must, they really up your makeup game. Best beauty advice I ever got was “eyebrows matter” ๐Ÿ˜›

For YouTube tutorials, absolutely 100% look up Lisa Eldridge, she is my favvvv. She’s a famous celebrity makeup artist, so of course she uses a lot of high-end products, so you just gotta match the color that she uses. And she has some great beginning technique tutorials.

MrsYellowDaffodil:  I have a small eyelid space too. There are a lot of hooded eyelid YouTube videos out there. Stephanie Lange on YouTube does tutorials for girls with your eye shape. Check her out, she’s great!
