I was not charting and my period was over 2 weeks late by the time I got a BFP so i have no idea how many weeks I am right now. I’m wondering how soon could a home test detect pregnancy?
Edit: after AF was a week late I was testing every other day and getting BFN

The highest percentages of people who get BFP’s are between 9dpo and 13dpo. Of course it’s possible to get one earlier or later, but that’s most common. If AF was a week late and you were getting negative tests, my guess would be you ovulated later and this your bfp was then later. There is no way to know for sure.
Does your doctor do a dating scan to determine how far along you are?

Thank you! I called the doctor and explained everything and scheduled my first appointment for May 24. They will be able to measure and give me an exact number but it seems so far away.

You probably ovulated late. I got positive tests around 9/10 DPO although I know it can be much later for some people. LMP is pretty useless unless you ovulate on day 14. The dating scan is annoying to wait for, but you’ll definitely get answers. All of my dating scans have always lined up with what I knew to be true based on date of ovulation.
Try to distract yourself and let the time go by. You’ll know very soon even if it doesn’t feel that way!

I was 10 DPO but it was the first I tested. I probably could have seen something at 9 but I was trying to wait till I missed my period and just gave in.

stillnothing : I got my BFP at 9DPO at night on a 4 hour hold on a cheapie.

This time around was stark white at 10 dpo and a squinter but definitely positive at 11dpo.

10 DPO, or 3 weeks 3 days. FMU on an FRER and it was a light but definitely pink second within 3 minutes. The only test I took. Good luck with your first appointment!

With my healthy pregnancy, I had a squinter on 9dpo. With my pregnancy that ended in MC, a squinter at 12dpo.
Agree with pp tho, I think you ovulated late. Congrats!!

I got my BFP at 13dpo, but my symptoms started as early as 11dpo. I also didn’t test before then. I would say if you got a faint BFP, you can say you were 3.5 weeks the day you got it.

For my first, 9DPO but I would not call it a BFP.. more like a little tiny positive 🤣. For my second, at like 6 weeks because I was working 18 hour days and didn’t realize I was pregnant lol.
