lightchaser :  Nobody even touched the games we provided, despite the rainy day.  Everyone just sat around and chatted instead, with a teeny bit of dancing for maybe a half hour.  When it wasn’t raining, some people tossed a football and frisbee around.  And the night before, some of us played Jenga.  But day of?  Nope.  We still had a wonderful time.

We rented out the pub at our venue for guests to go between the ceremony and reception. We had board games, darts, and pool. They also had the TVs on and we bought food and soda for everyone. Alcoholic drinks were available for purchase. Lots of people played the games I was told. We also rented out the bowling alley at our venue so guests could do that before the reception.

Games we had were: Uno, Skip-Bo, Cranium, Jenga, and Clue.

We also had a DJ… Best money we spent hands down.

We aren’t having board games but we are having yard games including: Custom corn hole, washers, horse shoes in our wedding colors, and possibly lawn darts. But I love the idea of board games because I can’t dance and typically don’t at weddings so this would be awesome.
