From 170lbs – 38C or D depending on the brand, down to 132lbs and a 34A or B. I think like some other Bees have said it depends on where you carry your weight – I have a pretty small top half and slightly pronounced pear shape on the bottom.

@bummbledbee: This is such a good question because its so hard to judge. when I lost my 100+ pounds I went from (depending on brand) a 38 or 40 C to a 34 or 36 C. I definitely agree it depends how you distribute your weight!!

thanks for all the answers! very interesting to see how weight fluctuations have affected bust size. i’m really hoping to go down a few cup sizes, but i guess i’ll just have to wait and see.

i lost 40lbs and my bra size went from 36H to 30 HH (the proprtions stayed about the same… just the band size went down). i feel like i lost half of my weight in my boobs though!

I’ve only lost 14 lbs so far but my bra size hasn’t changed at all.

I lost 30lbs a few years ago, and went from a 32J to a 32H. And they just looked even bigger compared to the rest of me! Gutted!
And now I’ve gained it all back, so am back to square one!

I was a B cup when I was skinny. I am almost back to a B cup now. Went from a 40C to a 36C. I am 23 pounds down and still have 65 to go. We’ll see how things change as I go. 🙂

I lost about 80 lbs & went from a 38 or 40 D to 34C. Just got measured at VS the other day to double check my own measuring. I hadn’t considered having to buy all new bras when I started dieting.
“Those D’s are gone for good,” said Dh, sadly.

I went from a 34C to a 30D. Problem is, I can’t find that size anywhere 🙁

Go to La Senza/ VS and buy a 32, then go to your local tailor and have them snip an inch off the band (around) on either side ….
I’m a 32D, and pretty reliably….but I have done that with some of their balconette bras where the straps were too long. I’ve never done the around the bust alteration, but I can’t see why it wouldn’t be do-able.
Then you don’t have to venture into very expensive customs.:)

When I started my journey way back in 2008, I was over 220 pounds and a D40 When I lost my first 50 pounds I was a 38C and now I weigh in between 130 and 145 and wear between a 34B to a 36C (I have a range, it changes throughout the month, sort of frustrating!)
Let me tell ya, from a 40D, I sure do strut around like a proud little lady when I’m sporting the B4 :-p

I have bought 32’s and just sewed the back of the band tighter (very poor sew job btw) but its better than nothing. Some day I will have to go splurge and get it done properly at the tailor. Everyday I am fumbling with uncomfortable bras, I just wish all these stores made to sell bras would understand there are more sizes!! You know those VS models aren’t bigger than a 28/30 around.

@bummbledbee: I lost 30 lbs a few years ago – I went from a B to an A. Thank GOD for padded bras.

When I lost weight last time, I went from a 40DD (probably more like an E) to 36C.
