Olgarie:  yes i know .right after i finally got it in my size 5 i wore it out of the store and it was a super light blue.if im in my house its a true lodon blue sicne i live in a cabin and  the wood makes it darker and the lighting an orange color. most of the time it looks like a swiss blue though but i still love it. im hoping for my 5 year i can up grade to this sapphire though

I went with a blue sapphire halo set! I don’t think you will regret it, I know I won’t be. I’m not really a fan of white diamonds either, although mine does have tiny ones. My dream wedding ring was a blue sapphire surrounded by black diamonds, unfortunately not in my size and I can’t find anything like it. 🙁 But I was okay with the blue surrounded by white, still different, still unique!

The ring might still go through some changes as it’s being finished but I’m not sure about the top. But here’s my Mahenge spinel 🙂

My last engagement ring was a white diamond, so this time I got a blue diamond!

Olgarie:  That is a beautiful ring!! I chose a simple white sapphire ring that I’m still waiting on to get here, and I love it more than any of the diamonds I had looked at 🙂

Loving all these colored stones!!!

I always wanted a sapphire or spinel so bad for my ring! However I’ll be getting a diamond as SO is using an hierloom. I am still quite the jewelry gal so I’m not going to say no to a diamond, but I am always a teency bit envious of the beautiful colored stones.

Though SO did say he saw a sapphire/spinel ring in my future after getting married, lol!

Love looking through all the pictures of coloured stones.

I’ve always been a “pink girl” and I really wanted a pink stone. SO hunted far and wide for months and eventually found me a light pink sapphire, which I love!
