Vote, or explain. 🙂
(Oh & my vote is First week-Third week of November.)
I can hardly wait. Last year my husband & I put our tree up the first of November. It was our first tree of our very own so we was really excited. I said this year we would wait until the day after Thanksgiving BUT all of my friends on facebook was putting theirs up & I kept holding it in until finally today my husband & I put it & all of the decorations up besides the outside ones. lol

When we have family in town/we’re out of town with family for Thanksgiving we put it up as soon as they leave/we get back home. If we’re home alone for Thanksgiving, that baby goes up Thanksgiving night….football and decorating the tree, best way to end Thanksgiving 🙂

Thanksgiving weekend is nuts for us. Mom and I do Black Friday shopping, and then we come home and decorate the tree :). This year, Darling Husband and I are spending the night with mom so we can get up and go shopping early, and then we’ll help her with her tree. I think we’ll do ours the day after, though. There is too much of a good thing!

As early as the last day in November as late as the week before Christmas. Usually around my sons birthday (December 8th). I’m not into Christmas but my son likes it… we might not do a tree this year… not sure yet.

Doesn’t a tree put up so early get awfully crispy by Christmas?
We put ours up about a week before Christmas and take it down about a week after.

The day after Thanksgiving though I’m scared this year. First year we were married in our new home I went out and bought a brand new tree bc we never had one together. Well our chocolate lab didn’t care for it. Then last year we got a yellow lab puppy before Thanksgiving and there was no way we would put it up with an 8 week old pup. So this year it’s going up and I’m worried how it’s going to go.

We do the day after Thanksgiving or on the Make up thanksgiving we do for MrPanda (He always has to work on thanksgiving) This year we may do it earlier because I want photo christmas cards this year!

I voted “middle of December”, but I have a feeling we might do it a bit earlier this year since Fiance and I have bought and moved into our OWN house now! I always did the tree at my parents’ and to be honest, I’d put it up on Christmas Eve before just so we’d have a tree. It’s massive, fake, and a big hassle, but it looks so great once it’s up! I’m sure I’ll be doing theirs again this year.
The one we have at our new house is fake and just little, although Fiance wants to get a real tree (I’ve never had a real one, he’s never had a fake one). Maybe we’ll do one for each floor this year so we can have both! I’m hoping he’ll want to buy a fake one on sale after Christmas, haha. 🙂

@julies1949: Im allergic to christmas trees 🙁 I love them but I break out in hives just being around one (like even in the same room from one) So we have to do a fake one.

@julies1949: Not if you use a fake one. 😛 I wouldn’t be able to breath if we used a real one. :/ Although when we get a bigger house we just might! 🙂

This year, it’ll be a few days before Christmas because Darling Husband is getting leave to come home a few days before. I want to have some stuff up when he gets home so it feels Christmas-y, but we’ll do the tree together.
Other years, it’ll go up after Thanksgiving and stay up until whenever we can celebrate Christmas with DH’s deployment schedule. The holidays get complicated as a military family…
