My rings are off being soldered together as we speak.  My wedding is May 20th and although I really want to wear it when it comes in, I don’t think I am going to.  We’ll see.  2 months without it seems like forever!  I’m sure I’ll be taking it out and playing with it frequently Laughing

I always thought you waited until after the wedding to get them soldered? You definitely could wear it before but I feel like it may take away from the “specialness” (I don’t even think that’s a word) of getting to officially wear it once you’re married!

I would wait untill after the wedding, whats the rush?? that is why its a wedding band, it would take away the excitement.  Either wait to get it soldered till after the wedding day or if you dont wait, then keep it off till the wedding day when your Fiance puts it on your finger after saying IDO 🙂

I’m getting mine done before hand too because I have two wedding bands, so my Fiance will place all three together as one on my hand when we get married. Reeds does it on sight so it will only take a day or two, i’m getting it done the week of the wedding and won’t wear it until the wedding

I was wondering this exact same thing. My engagement ring and wedding band are not straight so they look funny if they aren’t lined up exactly so I wanted to solder them before so they looked perfect for the pictures when they are on my hand but on the same token I don’t want to not be able to wear my ring the weeks before the wedding

I think I’m going to have mine soldered before the wedding and just use a stand-in. I have two bands (top and bottom) that are both curved and I don’t want them being off centered all day for pictures and such. Mine has to be sent out to be soldered with platinum because of my nickel allergies, it’s going to suck to be without it!

I just took mine in today and my wedding is in two weeks. I just won’t wear a ring at all until then. My hand looks funny without it but I’ll live.
