I would add more options. I bet a lot of women do it for major anniversaries (10, 15, 20, 25 years ect.).

I have not upgraded but we have discussed it for our ten year anniversary. A decade sure is something to celebrate! We also plan to renew our vows in ten years at the place we honeymooned.
But hey I’m happy to stack for now!

I’ve only been engaged a couple months, but my mom upgraded to more of an “anniversary” band after 20 years when her original diamond got lost. I see myself getting an anniversary type band in yellow gold after 5-10.

Two years… but I paid for the upgrade.

I still wear my old set 1/2 the time though… Guess I am more sentimental than I thought I was 🙂

Does it count as an upgrade if I still have the original ring? I got my second e-ring just a little over a year later but wear both, and my next addition will probably be in a year or two. 🙂

I upgraded my ring after jsut 11 months. When we got engaged, my husband didn’t have a job. He was going to college full time. Now that he has a good job, we decided it was time for an upgrade. I just got my new set last week and I think my hubby is more excited about it than I am! lol!

Does it count that my Fiance proposed with the stone in a “presentation setting” and then we went and picked out the setting together?  That was like, a month or two after the proposal…  Still have the original center stone in the ring, but everything else is sparklier…

I don’t plan on upgrading my actual ring.  I’m waaaayyyy too sentimental for that.  But, we do plan on upgrading my band eventually.  Ideally, I’d like to add an eternity band for the 5 year anniversary and another matching one for our 10 year.

I upgraded my wedding band already.  I had the original for 7 months and recently upgraded…we get married in 11 days so I haven’t even worn either of them!  LOL But I do love my current e ring and someone on here suggested if I ever wanted to upgrade just to do the center stone. My current center stone is 4 princess cut stones.
