So to say if you hadn’t got married back then, and say it was now….would you still pick the same dress? Or have your tastes totally changed?
I ask this because I think of my prom dress and at the time I thought it was beautiful…but if I was to go to a prom now (11 years later) I definately wouldn’t choose the same dress. (Although it would make me smile to look at it…nostalgic memories )

I’ve only put 2+ years in the title as I feel every couple of years your tastes change a little…but feel free to add if it’s less than that.

I’d probably choose a similar style (original was just an A-line). I’m pretty boring when it comes to dressing up.

I still love my dress and it has been two years. I would choose the same or something similar if I were getting married today, though I might have done a lower back because I think it looks gorgeous.

I’d choose the same dress in a heartbeat. It is the only dress I fell in love with (as soon as I saw the picture in a magazine). I’d wear it every day if I could!!!!

Nope. I still love my dress and wish I could wear it somewhere else. Lol

I’d wear the same dress again. I was so in love with it. The only thing I would maybe change is adding sheer sleeves because I think that look is to die for! But I got married outdoors in the desert so I think sleeveless was better.

Nope, I would choose the same dress! I wore a big ball gown and I fell like it was the best choice for my body type and still love the way I looked!
My prom dress on the other hand… I would never wear again.

I never loved my dress – I just picked something that fitted ok and made me look slim.
If I could go back (which I very well may as I’m getting divorced and may marry again) I would pick something with colour and a bit of drama.

Ha! I was married almost 20 years ago, puffy sleeves and all. And while I still love sleeves on a dress, I would not choose the same style of dress today. Indeed, my mum wanted me to try on a different dress then (which I did), and while we both loved that one, we decided it wasn’t “me”. Had I chosen that one, it would have been a lot more “timeless” than the one I chose was. However, I doubt that most people will find that their wedding is free of fashion mistakes 20 years later – whether it is the wedding dress, the bridemaid’s dress, the hairstyles, etc. I don’t regret choosing my dress (or my DH’s terrible hair when we were married).

I love love love my dress, but I’d probably choose something else. There are just so many gorgeous dresses out there.

that is absolutely stunning!

I would still wear my dress today. I loved everything about it, and it was perfect for me. It was a very simple satin-like Ivory fit and flare with a very simple belt. I wouldn’t change anything about my bridal look.

I had a little bit of dress regret when I got my dress, but the style I wanted was just not popular at the time (sheer cap sleeves). I ended up settling for the one dress I could find that was the style I wanted, and I feel like I could’ve done better. I’m still happy with how I looked the day of though!

Yes, I would. I actually think about this a lot. LOL. I loved my mermaid dress, but would have loved to have gone with lace and beading instead. So I do have a little bit of dress regret.
