The ring I picked out is from zales and is only online. I don’t know when my Boyfriend or Best Friend is going to propose or when you are going to order your ring, but I’ll let let you know as soon as I get it.

My bridal set was an online only ring from Zales. Darling Husband had a lot of issues with them while trying to order and get it here (the first ring he ordered suddenly wasn’t being made anymore and no one ever told him). I’ve had mine for a 1.5 years now and I love it 🙂

@NellieBelly37:  I was just in Zales yesterday browsing their e-rings for kicks. I’m not an expert on diamonds but frequent Pricescope forums enough to know to avoid it if you’re into paying for quality.  To the naked eye I could see imperfections in the diamond or they were selling 1.7 carats for a “great deal” and seeing imperfections/crushed ice qualities. Asking the attendent about Idealscope or ASET lighting images (these show how well your diamond will reflect light), she thought I was an idiot and meant ideal cut.

In my opinion –and no offense to anybody who owns a Zales ring/set–  you can get better diamonds for your money elsewhere. Take a look around Pricescope for knowledge on diamonds. Blue Nile, B2C Jewelers, Whiteflash, James Allen are diamond sellers that have pretty good reputations for being upfront on quality.

I am super happy with my Peoples/Zales ring!!! They do carry low quality stones but they also have a selection of higher quality diamonds, especially in their bridal section. My ring is very white, with no imperfection to the eye. They made me a custom wedding band in platinum, and it turned out so perfectly!!!

I had a Peoples (Zales in the US) ring and it SUCKED big time. I had to return it and thankfully, got a full refund. The gold was bad (I didn’t even know that was possible). It came with pits in it and black spots in the pits in the gold. It was 10k gold so I thought it would be really sturdy but got scratched up 2 days after being proposed to. I have no idea why it was such a bad ring.

I ended up getting a custom ring made based on 2 Verragios (one that I liked and one that my now husband liked). I am so glad. It was a blessing in disguise.

I have a bridal set from Zale’s and I love it! I just took it in to be resized and they got it back to me in 5 days… I’ve had nothing but good experiences with them!

I am starting to believe that Zales does carry low quality diamonds. With that being said, I have set from there! Mine is from the Vera brand. We paid about a thousand dollars more for the Vera than a ring of this carat weight would have been from a regular Zales rings. My ring is the sparkliest ring I have ever seen in real person and I do believe it’s because we paid for quality over quantity. Me and gal pals have compared each other’s rings and prices. Yes, my stone is smaller but it out shines every one of their dull rocks.

I do have one other complaint, and almost don’t want to mention it because it is my own fault. 3 months after I got my ring a side stone fell out. I was so upset this beautiful ring could have a flaw after a short amount of time. I’ve done research and it is recommended that a girl with larger fingers should not resize ring to fit their hands if there are side stones. Kinda common sense when I think about it. I have a size 9.5 ring finger.

ANYWAYS! Here she is my pride and joy, 1 carat Zales Vera Wang engagement ring.
