I was given a pre-engagement ring on our dating anniversary earlier this month, and it is a 4 ct aquamarine, the birthstone of the month we met.

I will get my diamond later this year, after my boyfriend’s sister gets married in May.

After owning this ring for almost a month, I haven’t run into any issues with it other than some noticeable smudging because the stone is see through.

2.5 ct pear aquamarine and diamond halo πŸ™‚  It sparkles like crazy!

So far no issue with scratches or clouding but I have been very careful about exposing the ring to chemicals, extreme heat, etc.

I just got an aquamarine ring too!

The stone itself is 7mm x 5mm which is I believe the equivalent of a 1ct diamond.  The side diamonds total .56ct.

Hey! I have an aquamarine engagement ring and I LOVE it!  My only grief (if you can call it that) is that aquamarine’s are like water.. you can see right through them. So, depending on the structure of your ring, it can get dirty at the bottom and make the shine a little less vibrant.  They’re really easy to clean though so it’s not a biggie. πŸ™‚

I have an aqua RHR, it’s really different from all the ones posted so far. It’s vintage, and yellow gold.

beautiful rings ladies! here is mine not my e-ring though, I can’t tell how the durability is, I had mine for 3yrs, but I don’t wear it that much, my aquamarine in 14K white gold halo setting with tiny diamonds on the side and surrounded by chocolate diamonds, they are very affordable too!

I am in love with my ering! I wanted to be completely surprised and that I was! I was expecting a diamond ring because I had no idea that gemstone rings were even an option for engagement rings, and I am so happily surprised with what my fiance selected πŸ™‚ All he knew was that I wanted yellow gold and something nature-y themed….here is his custom design! He spent forever with a jeweler getting it perfect. The gemstone has flower petals around it and there are butterflies on the bands! Butterflies have always been our thing πŸ™‚ I’m a lucky girl! I love my unique ering but I do worry about damaging it because I’ve what I’ve heard about aquas not being very tough…

@seongsilanderson2014222:  Wow! So beautiful! πŸ™‚

My original e-ring was aquamarine and I always had trouble keeping it clean. It seemed to get cloudy within a day or so of wearing it after cleaning. Mine also ended up with a couple small scratches on the stone but I believe I bashed it pretty hard on something. I used to work for an antique dealer and did a lot of heavy lifting/furniture moving and stupidly left my ring on once. πŸ™ I don’t have a picture of it on this computer.
