I have a four carat stone in a classic tiffany style setting, so the stone is larger and raised high, I dont wear it around the house and don’t usually wear to it to the gym, hiking or anything else where I would be very dressed down or working with my hands or some days I just don’t feel like having a whopping stone on my hand. When I don’t wear it, I wear my grandmother’s wedding band which is very comfortable. After I get married there are somedays where I will just wear my wedding ring on it’s own.

I have a 1.5ct radiant cut in a Verragio setting and yeah I feel “super fancy” when I’m lying in bed with sweatpants on. I also feel like it’s too fancy for my retail job.

My ring is pretty huge and I wear it most of the time, the only time I don’t is when I’m cooking, cleaning, showering, sleeping, swimming, hiking, etc., aka anywhere I could risk damaging it or it would get in the way.

If it doesn’t hinder you in any way or doesn’t paralyze you with fear over something happening to it, you should wear it as much as you want!

Mine is a modest stone in a channel set band (which I love for its comfort and stability) and I never take it off! Even when I’m in sweatpants and walking the dogs I wear it.

I feel a lot more put together with my E ring on!

Well I’m not sure what the definition of a large stone is, but mine SEEMS large to me (it’s the biggest one out of my circle of friends) it’s a 1.04 carat with pave band, and I definitely wear it every day! I loooove how sparkly it is, and it makes me feel pretty even when I’m dressed down or at the gym. To me, it seems like if I’m dressed down but wearing my sparkly ring, it gives the impression that I’m the type of person who usually looks nice.

I don’t really think of an engagement ring as something to match an outfit. It’s something I feel I should wear every single day as a symbol of his love to me. I’m still engaged wearing sweatpants and home so I still should wear it. I also wear a diamond and sapphire ring if my late grandmothers every day, so wearing a ring doesn’t really bother me as a comfort thing

When I first got my ring I was concerned about my outfit matching, scared to cook, shower, sleep with it on etc but they slowly changed. I now do pretty much everything with it on.

I had taken it off to do my hair a few months ago and forgot it at home. I was without it all day and was sad because of it all day! So I don’t take it off now.

I have a 1.22 cushion on a size 4 finger and am comfortable wearing it regardless of my outfit or what I’m doing. It’s low set had has double prongs so I don’t worry about damaging it.

Great question as this was definitely something that crossed our mind when we decided on our 2 carat Quorri ring. It definitely attracts a lot of attention because of its size and sparkle. Many stop my finace in her tracks to tell her what a beautiful ring. She has a fairly decent size hand so it needed a larger stone. She is careful and much more aware of it because of the larger size. It is surely easier to bang it around accidently. When chillin, at the gym, doing chores or at certain casual places she doesnt wear it. Its really based on when you think its a good time to wear it or not. My fiance likes to look at it and of couse it always reminds her of me *wink*. but, as per your final comment, I think your friends probably wish they had a nice ring like yours too …haha. Wear it when and as you wish.

Mine is a 1.72 cushion, so not crazy-gigantic by any means, but I wear it always, only take it off to shower, wash dishes, and lift at the gym (the grip on the weights would scratch).  I’m admiring it right now in my pajama bottoms and Seahawks sweatshirt!  🙂
