1.5 center stone on size 7.5 finger.

I work for an ad agency, and Fiance is a Financial Analyst. 

I think this is such an interesting thread OP- something I never thought about before I was engaged, but now I totally do. I have noticed that my ring is a larger size compared to my co-workers, but that it is smaller compared to my FI’s. Also, most of his co-workers (and mine actually) don’t get engaged & married until their 30s whereas we were 24 when we got engaged (we have been together since HS while most of our friends/coworkers have met people in the city a few years after college).

IMG_8755Mine is a 2.09 carat diamond.  Hubby works in IT security and I’m a lawyer (but I work for the state, so I’m not the fancy rich kind, lol!)

My Fiance is in the aerospace industry and I’m a government analyst. We also farm & ranch on the side.

It’s a 2.5 ct, believe it or not. I’ve noticed that the new setting with the thicker band makes it appear smaller in pics.  My knuckles don’t help either! It’s funny how you never notice how ugly your hands are until you start wearing an e-ring. 🙂

Good lord there are some huge rocks on this thread!! He’s an engineer & I’m a nurse! Mine is 1.51 carats.

Center Stone came from my mother, it’s approximately 1.8 carats diamond. My husband had my ring and band custom made. The sapphires are natural and 1 Ct a piece. The wedding band is an eternity band approximately 3 Ct. my husband is a state police officer (sergeant) and I am a state auditor.
