(Closed) Bees with REAL hair flowers!

I used an orchid. I picked it up the day before the wedding and kept it in the fridge overnight (got a whole branch of them and then just picked a couple of pretty ones off and the rest were used in our decor). We put it in my hair about 1:00 in the afternoon and when I took it out at 2am it still looked PERFECT. I couldn’t believe it! I had a fabric flower I was going to wear and the orchid was an impulse decision. I’m so happy I did!

@kumquat11: Thanks! Sorry I wish I had a better photo to share with you. I found two more that might show it a bit better.

This was close to the end of the night. Looking at it, it looks a touch droopy but overall I think it held up well.

Regarding timing and freshness of the flower, my Maid/Matron of Honor picked up a couple the day before the wedding and kept them in fresh water and a cooler.

@hanaleilove: I’ve never seen a dahlia as a hair flower, it looks STUNNING!!!!
