@Audrey2:  🙂 thanks! It’s hard – because normally I am 100% for sentimentality over aesthetics any day – just not on this and I don’t know why? Maybe because it’s not my own grandparents’? I just so don’t want to feel rude or offend anyone. It’s such a hard subject to bring up.

My ering is 2.1 and my band is 2. I know you said “under 2”, but I just wanted to post my set. 😉

@lealorali:  Thanks girl. I’m not getting married for another 2 weeks (as if that’s a long time??)  and I wanted something I could wear on its own and I honestly don’t love how my 2 mm plain band looks alone- it’s a bit too simple and isn’t substantial enough for me. The plan is to get a diamond band eventually to be worn between the two, on its own, or just with the plain band.

mine is so thin, you probably can’t see it, lol. But it sits right up against my e-ring

@BluePeaches:  That looks great together, the two bands!!

@NewYorkLady:  Those two bands look lovely!!!!!

I wear a couple thin bands with a flower composite ring. At times I wear the 1.5mm eternity diamond band in white gold, but I quickly find it’s very thin alone. My 2mm rose gold band looks awesome alone, so I think that’s a good width for me. I have a thin 1.5 mm rose gold ring soldered to the flower ring, which I love paired up with the white gold diamond band.

Here’s my favorite combo:

Here’s the 1.5mm eternity band alone (I find it looks larger in pictures than irl)

And the 2mm rose gold band I looooooove:

@Audrey2:  i saw a lady with this combo and looked super dainty and elegant! so i decided to go this route too!

However, the half-eternity has been rubbing on my e-ring and wore away my prongs quite a bit so I am getting a 1mm spacer from etsy.
