Ok, here is my dilema. My groom to be and I are starting to look at venues for our wedding/reception for next November. We are getting married in Pensacola, Florida and are really looking at getting married at Big Lagoon State Park. They offer the ampitheater and Pavilion for 300 dollars for both buildings all day. Just beautiful. Here’s the problem: My only concern is rain! Both buildings are covered. We went out there this past weekend to tour it all since we just had Tropical Storm Lee come through and wanted to see how the building faired. Overall, not too bad. The picnic tables were wet and a few small puddles. The ampitheather had a few small puddles as well. Granted it rained for three days straight with 40 mph winds. Was expecting much worse. Does anyone has some suggestions on maybe a side covering for pavilion. Or any Pensacola brides have suggestions on other venues as well.
