Ok so I tried a dress on that I fell in love with and ordered it with some custom changes.
Dress in store was Ivory, no sash, and a zipper zip up back.
Dress I ordered and made custom changes to now is White, has an added sash, and has a corset back.
Go with the original Ivory dress with zipper back, or go with white dress and corset backing with sash?!?!?!?

The second one. But I’d lose the sash. It does absolutely nothing for the dress.

I love the ivory with your skin tone, with no sash. I think the sash really takes away from how stunning and intricate your gown in, and the ivory just looks great with your skin tone.

well it is the middle of winter and am more pale skin than normal, after summer as it gets close to the wedding date I will be very tan, and have a much darker skin tone.

My preference is the one without the corset back (but that is entirely a personal preference because I absolutely hate corseted backs and think they make a dress look cheap). With that said, however, I do not think you need the sash with either dress. I think the sash distracts from the beauty of the dress. Plus, from the pics, you have a great figure for the dress, and I just think that the sash breaks you up and creates an unflattering line. I think if you were adding the sash because you feel that you need an extra “bling” effect, you could do it with your jewelry.

I like the sash! Your custom changes look good too.

I love the new dress with the custom changes! Gorgeous.

I voted neither as I think you should go for the white one without the sash!! Looks gorgeous on you!!

I prefer the ivory, but it might be because of the lighting. I am another one who hates corset lacing – so I would keep the zipper. I would lose the sash too, it does nothing for the dress as others have commented.

I prefer ivory and zippered, but are you planning on ordering an entirely new dress? It looks like the dress you ordered is in. If that is your dress, keep it and lose the sash.

I don’t know if I dislike the sash because it’s crooked and not centered… or if it’s too busy for your dress.
Either way, the dress looks fantastic on you!

Haven’t you already ordered your custom made dress? Or am I reading that wrong?
