Much better without the halo. It’s stunning as a solitaire but the halo makes it so bulky it feels more like a play ring.

If you’re looking for more responses, you can just reply to bump your post up to the top of the main page so more people see it.

I said in one of the other ones that the stone stands out more as a solitaire.

I love it without the halo….with it makes it too busy

No halo.  It also doesn’t fit correctly.  You can see an air gap between the stone and the halo.

I think they both look good, but they are completely different looks.

The halo does make it appear very large, whereas I think the solitaire had a more proportionate look to it. But if large is what you were going for, then I think it looks very nice.

The OP is a new bee. Maybe she didn’t know to bump her post to get more input. I think she just wanted as many opinions as possible.

@Pamelor55:  I think that is what happened as I seen she asked for her other post to be closed.

Op, great choice on going back to the solitaire! That stone is really nicely sized & looks amazing on your hand!

@tfm:  Good choice! You have a gorgeous stone that is really eye catching as a solitaire. You need to feel comfortable wearing it.

I like it with the halo, it softens the sharp edges of the solitaire
