I lost about 20 lbs recently… here are a few photos along the way. (The last one obviously involved some hair experimenting!)

I, too, have been trying to get healthier for life and pregnancy.  I was at my heaviest weight in Decemeber and decided to take charge of my diet and added exercise in January.  So far, I’m down 22 pounds and 1-2 sizes.  Hoping to lose much more, but happy thus far!

The pics are December (top, left), March (top, right), May (bottom, left), July (bottom, right).  Sorry about the assorted sizes and my horrible roots in March. lol

Hope I have not posted these too much ladies…but here goes:

Before at 235: (what a sexy beast!!)

At 183:

Right now I am at 177 with less than 3 months to go until the wedding!   Hoping to lose maybe 10-15lbs more before then!  I am not following any specific plan…I just try to eat aprox 1300-1400 calories a day and I workout 75 minutes/5 days a week.

Good luck with the weight loss!! I too will be TCC after the wedding and want to be a healthy weight for the pregnancy!

@Mrs. Eagle:  I work out 6 days/ week. I started off using the Biggest Loser for Kinect game and it’s fantastic for weight loss!! It utilizes interval training and switches things up daily so you don’t get bored. I incorporated running little by little and now I run 4 days/week and do yoga 3 days/week. If I’m bored I’ll swim laps at the aquatic center or use the game. I also counted calories for about 6 months using My Fitness Pal. I no longer really use it and have just kind of adopted a healthy diet based on what I’ve learned from using My Fitness Pal, Fooducate, and general nutrition. I let myself have a cheat day and enjoy a glass of wine and chocolate almost every night.

@Mrs. Eagle:  One more thing!! I had my Fiance take this photo the other day. Prior to truly committing to yoga multiple times a week, I was happy with my body but seriously felt like I’d never have the stomach I wanted. I can tell an enormous difference since practicing multiple days a week.

@Mrs. Eagle:  Nothing really specific. I just eat healthy. I’m a vegetarian, but I don’t think that’s really relevant to my weight loss.

Breakfast: Oatmeal cooked with almond milk (topped with nut butter, nuts, fruit, chia seeds, etc.), or 1 egg + 1 egg white scramble with spinach and veggie sausage and fruit on the side, or green monster smoothie (frozen banana, peanut butter, greek yogurt, almond milk, spinach)

Lunch: Spinach salad and it changes weekly. Hummus with bagel chips and carrot with nut butter on the side.

Snacks: String cheese and a healthy homemade cookie/bar (this week’s: http://luxhippie.tumblr.com/post/5276760473/healthy-peanut-butter-banana-oatmeal-cookies)

Dinner: A healthy wholesome meal.

I really try not to limit things too much, but I do try to not eat too many refined carbs.
