@lawbride88:  what kind of teeth whitening are you going to do?  I have been using crest white strips, but I have been thinking of trying something new.

I need to wear my retainers too.

Depending on how tan I am, I might spray tan, but I have naturally olive skin, so a spray tan comes out looking very natural.  I bought a bandeau bathing suit though and I live close to the beach, so I am hoping I get tan enough before.

I am also getting eyelash extensions about a month before. If I like them I am going to get a refill for the wedding.

I have been way more diligent about my skincare routine: clarisonic, toner, eye cream w/ peptides and moisturizer.

I have not decided what my morning of workout will be I want to sweat a little, but not tire myself out too much.  I have been working out pretty regularly.

I am a law bride too, I am finishing my 2L in so cal!

– Definitely a ton of water, probably starting two weeks before.

– Low carb two weeks before.

– Planning on doing a group run with my girls the morning of, something short and fun.

– Being dedicated to my skincare (washing my makeup off! Especially before workouts!)

@lawbride88:  Those are all great tips!! You should try a face mask called Glam Glow which you can get at Sephora. The results are amazing!! I will be using that first thing when I wake up on the  day of my wedding. This is random but I will also take a Zantac 150 to prevent heartburn. I get it at odd times and it makes me feel awful….not taking any chances on my wedding day.

@lawbride88:  I’m an avid runner :). I actually have a condition similair to RA. Hence why my doctor may do a pre-emptive prednisone/medrol strike on me before the wedding stress makes me flare. It was actually my fiance’s idea for me to run the disney races before the wedding, he said I’d run 10+ miles anyway. It is common place for me to run on holidays, or before events. I like to make a calorie deficit, I like that it makes my muscles pop/stomach flat, and it releaves stress for me which with the arthritis is a killer. I will however be wearing flats at my wedding and we’re not doing dancing because I dont handle that well at all with my condition. One of my bridesmaids, my cousin, and one of my friends will be running the half with me. The cousin and bridesmaid will likely be running the 10k as well. I am about to run my 3rd race over 10 miles in an 8 week span the week after next, I’ve completed century and a half iron, and will do my first full marathon (rheumatologist finally  agreed) this fall. When we get married I will be prepping for my first 2 back to back attempts to qualify for Boston in the spring, I have to run a  <3:35 marathon :). So beyond the fact it could agitate my joints we arent worried, we are pushing very hard for a better treatment for me which will mean the joint issues I’m having right now will not be an issue then.

@lawbride88:  Yeah I’ve been running almost 8 years now. I think you can do a distance race with training but I dont reccomend these double race challenges, or a long race before something like a wedding for new runners.

-up water intake and  omega 3-6-9 fatty acid intake (i take the capsules as i find they really minimize my acne flare ups)

-continue with running/weights/yoga.

-limit sugars and alcohol (again, to minimize my acne flare ups)

-get a facial and a back facial.  The only reason why i am considering a back facial is because an aquaintance of mine had a strapless dress on and the photographer took a pic of her back. It was totally terrible mostly because her back was riddled with large blackheads EVERYWHERE.  Unfortunatley, cause it was on her back, she couldn’t see that they were there.    🙁 So yeh, strongly thinking about getting the back facial.

@lawbride88:  My plan was more about just centering myself. I made sure to stay overnight at a really pretty bed and breakfast near the venue. I wanted to wake refreshed away from all the planning madness at the house, and have time to reflect on life in a pleasant setting. I was so content. My Maid/Matron of Honor and bridesmaid then joined me the morning of and got ready with me there. My photographer and videographer came to capture the fun and said I was the most calm bride they’d ever seen. It was such a good decision for me to do that and I would definitely do it again.

I also did the lots of water routine, a took care of my skin a couple days in advance as not to have any irritation from exfoliating on the day of the wedding.

@lawbride88:  Thats a lot of miles. More than You’ll ever see me run with the arthritis. I put a lot of miles in the pool and on the bike too though. Training like a triathlete allows me to really keep mileage and not kill my joints. Running is my favorite of the three but I just cant do that kind of mileage. I expect even with the marathon training I’ll never top 45 running, but I will probably top 100 miles a week between the bike and swimming with it.
