I haven’t been asked yet, but all I am planning to say is YES! lol I do not have a way with words, and he does. So I am certain he will say something beautiful and if I try to say anything sweet it will be a facepalm moment HAHA!

We aren’t engaged yet, but what I would really love to say is Sure.

That is his go to word when he can’t understand why I’m asking him something because he knows I will do whatever I see fit anyway.  Or his I’m not really paying attention word.

Not that I wouldn’t be paying attention!  Chances are after being together close to 8 years, I’ll end up saying HELL YA, what took you so long!

I never say what I have rehearsed so I’m not really planning anything!

hahaha I knew it was coming and I had no idea whether I was going to say yes or not yet. I was really banking on knowing in the moment he asked, but I was totally wrong. It was on the beach, and it was rainy and I held an umbrella and a backpack because we were walking back to the car. Anyway,  the poor boy was on one knee looking up at me with a growing fear in his eye as I blinked in silence for way too long before I gave him a shaky “okay…!” He even had to confirm it. But then it was good. ^_^ I’m crazy indecisive; especially about ginormous decisions  o_O

I assumed I would say “yes!”, or maybe “of course!” or if the mood struck, a “hells yeah!”

What I let out was a barely-audible, high pitched, hoarse yelp that was supposed to be a “yes”.

…I was totally shocked and somewhat embarrassed that my own voice failed me like that. Fiance understood what I meant though 🙂

He wanted to propose in a really romantic way, and I wanted to say yes like they do in the movies and then have the most romantic kiss, as he slipped on the ring.  As I seemed to go out of my way to do everything unintentionally to ruin the proposal, he had to cancel his plans and couldn’t wait any longer to arrange anything else, and in the end I just said “Reeeeeeallyyyy!?!?!?!?” in a really high-pitched welsh accent, and the ring was a touch too small – we got it on but then had to wet my finger to take it off as it hurt a little. Laughing

I thought I was going to *gasp* and throw my arms around him and shout “yes” all with a huge smile on my face…

Instead, I said “Are you serious?! (in a high pitched voice). You tricked me!” Then a big “YES”…after he asked me if I was going to say yes. Hahaha major fail. I only said “you tricked me” because we picked out the ring together and then he told me something went wrong and that we needed to pick out another ring. We had yet to go shopping again so I had no idea it was coming. Hence, the “are you serious” lol. I’m still slightly embarassed about it 🙂

We’d been dating for 7 years at that point. I had always planned to joke and either say “about time!” or “I need to think about this, it’s all happening so quickly.”

When the moment came, all I could get out was “of course!”

I “planned” on saying somdething cute or sweet but when the moment actually hapened (I had NO clue it was happening)… All that I could say is “you are joking”(over and over) then once the shock and crying wore off I of course said YES 🙂
